Let’s face it, by wanting to keep the existing CFP quotas, the EU want to have their hake and eat it, which is unacceptable.

Yes, I know the jokes been done before, but I like it!

With Brexit, we could argue that the UK is putting her interests first, does this make the UK the natural enemy of the rest of the world?
It appears we are on one side of the table, whilst France and Germany are on the other side, arguing with each other.

In terms of an enemy of a deal being made, yes, it's the French. Most of European industry, including the auto makers have called publicly for a deal to be struck, and Merkel certainly is pushing for one.

...but I guess you're just trolling as usual Piha. You'd never let actual political understanding get in the way of an insult, would you?

From the link you posted I read that Michael Green, Corinne Stockheath and Sebastian Fox all said " “Air travel is vital for both the UK and the EU in connecting people and facilitating trade and tourism, and we are confident measures will be in place to allow for continued air connectivity beyond the end of 2020.”

And from another link...."A spokesperson for IAG, which includes British Airways, Aer Lingus and Iberia of Spain, said: “IAG expects the EU and UK to agree a Comprehensive Air Transport Agreement. Flights will continue to operate as normal.”

Macron has set his stall out it seems:

"On no account will our fishermen be sacrificed for Brexit. We didn’t choose Brexit, the British people did. So preserving our fishermen’s access to the UK’s waters allows a good compromise"

Presumably if as he says Fish is the top priority for the EU, they're about to drop all their other daft demands and ask Boris what they would need to do to maintain the status quo on fish. No of course not.

He is going to bomb in France if we end up with no deal.

It's not a surprise though, he is a pompous arse disconnected from the lives of the majority of the average French, hence the continuous rioting throughout his entire presidency.

What measures would those be? Or on no deal are we hoping the EU will unilateral allow access again.

They clearly need a man of the people like Boris.

Broke, paying for god knows how many children and struggles to dress himself properly.

And allowing French fishermen access to the UK's waters might well be a good compromise; however, at the moment I'm not clear what the UK's being offered in return for granting those French fishermen the access Macron wants?

What again, what's this the fourth time?

The EU cutting off the rest of Europe from British tourists (along with business trips) is never ever going to happen, why Mrr T trots out this rubbish repeatedly beggars belief.

It looks like a road trip to Romania for Mrr T. Didn't Bob Hope do a similar journey? He was also a comedian as well.

Don't laugh at MrrT......Norman Wisdom played the fool but is an absolute legend in Romania...or somewhere that way anyway.

What levels of stupidity must be swirling around inside someone's head to state such a daft comment?
I remember that many years ago our history teacher told us we were armed with nuclear weapons in order to defend ourselves against the French. hehe

Rather better than the routine blockage under Operation Stack...

Remember, Dover is a very minor port.

Albania, but was big in the eastern block in general due to restrictions on what the dictators allowed. Similar situation to France and their restrictive media laws which scuppered the USA EU FTA.
