I think, whatever the outcome of the election, Kinky will be busy here for at least the next six months.

Wishful thinking.

If Biden wins, Trump won't go quietly. He's already set the scene for that.

There could be something akin to a civil war, in the offing.

When both sides start hurling insults and threats at each other - both sides are diminished. Now, in my opinion, one particular side is already starting in a pretty diminished state - but joining in with their style and tactics is not really the best way of showing them up for what they are.
WE already know what they are. THEY don't care what they are therefore there is nothing gained and nothing lost by treating them with the disdain the deserve.

I fully expect if (when) Biden wins that they'll all be repeating what their Furhrer will be bleating which is the whole thing was rigged against him and there was massive postal fraud and buttery males etc etc.

I'm afraid Kinky won't be retiring anytime soon. biggrin

I’ll be sorry if Biden does win - Trump has provided so much entertainment in the last 4 years biggrin

Who cares what THEY think of you. Maybe you should be a bit more concerned how those who generally agree with you might think of you.

I wouldn't classify any of what Trump has done as "entertaining". It's all been alarming and deeply worrying.

Those who consider Trump as some sort of comedian and object of fun and amusement are almost as concerning as those who actually agree with him.

I'm not really fussed about that either. biggrin

Our mutual hatred of Trump is enough for me.

“Burn him” Eric, let’s “burn him” wink

On an even less serious note, several times this morning you’ve made me chuckle Centurion and I’ve waited to post the above! Thank you.... a little light hearted and subtle humour goes a long way.

Trump is still a BTW

More GOP fights over voter restrictions

Some new twists in the fight over how far past Election Day absentee ballots can be counted in Pennsylvania
Remember that just a few days ago SCOTUS voted 4-4 not to disturb a PA Supreme Court decision that extended the deadline to Nov. 6.
https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/zoetillman/su...

The PA Republican Party has now asked the PA Supreme Court to stay its decision re: the Nov. 6 deadline while it pursues a cert petition at SCOTUS

Remember McConnell is rapidly pushingthe Senate to vote on Monday to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett as the ninth justice, which will give them the extra vote to reinstate PA's Election Day deadline for absentee ballots

The GOP is asking the Supreme Court to rerun Bush v. Gore: just look at the table of authorities.

And why are they pushing ACB as a new Scotus. It's all about voting obstruction
How Amy Coney Barrett played a role in Bush v. Gore — and helped the Republican Party defend mail ballots
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/amy-coney-...

There's nothing subtle about the GOP voting obstruction anymore, they are fulling going for it in the open, which makes you wonder what they are doing thats hidden

SCOTUS is already showing its (red) colours in voting cases Barrett being added will be fatal for a rerun of Bush v Gore

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez did a twitch stream where she played among Us with a few other people including Ilhan Omar.

I watched parts of it last night while doing other things, and if she is the future of US politics then they are in good hands, tbh.

Sadly this thread won't die. Would we continue it, or start a new one as all the court cases come out the woodwork etc. It would be better to leave it all together as team Biden unpick all the hidden wrong doing?

Edit:

SNL did a sketch in which they all stated that the country would be better off with Joe Biden as President – but that they were worried about what they’d have to talk about if Donald Trump is gone, but then one SNL cast member pointed out that if Donald Trump loses the election, with all the crimes he’s committed, he’s bound to go on many criminal trials... so they'd be ok.

Agreed, there's several young, excellent representatives coming through. Harris, Buttigieg, OCZ, Omar, even things like Utahs candidates for Governor, Spencer Cox and Chris Peterson issuing a joint Ad saying they will respect and work with each other...

Kinky, out of interest, there have been many claims/allegations of returning (sometimes banned) posters to this thread it seems often using alternate log ins or completely new accounts.

Are you able to shed any light on this at all? My understanding is that multiple accounts and such returning alternate or new accounts to circumvent a ban are certainly against the spirit of the regs?

There have been a few recently! Or do they just ‘disappear’ quietly in ad breaks of WEC? wink

I agree with you but to 41% of the American public she (and the likes of Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley) are the AntiChrist.

It's a sad state of affairs.

They'll be lucky. As soon as he confirms he definitely has not won and has no chance of overturning the result, he'll flee the country to somewhere warm with no extradition treaty giving Biden the choice of either letting him Twitter like a deranged lunatic until he keels over or sending in a Seal Team to go grab him.

He's a coward. That's what cowards do. They flee.

Great work on all these threads Byker. thumbup
