If not mentioned before, check out 'The plot against the President' (book or documentary). Scarey.
Can you summarise?
Not easily, there is a lot in it. Essentially 'deep state' really is corrupt.

Anyway, another day, another NY Time report on how much money trump owes, how much debt he's in, how he's failed to declare income, defrauded on his taxes...

lol - so anyone that gets something right when the expectation is the opposite is having a broken clock moment - yeah right

Several people predicted that the negotiations would be protracted and bitter following the EU ref - I predicted we would never leave and it would be like Hotel California biggrin
In these instances when there is a choice of two outcomes, it’s an obvious statistical certainty that some people will “call it”. However that’s generally down to dumb luck, not because they’re some sort of enlightened prophet compared to everyone else in whatever echo chambers you frequent.

trumps raping the national parks again.

trump is exempting Alaska's entire Tongass National Forest from the roadless rule, making more more than 9.3 million acres eligible for logging and other development. It is one of the biggest public lands rollbacks of his presidency.

President Trump will open up all 16.7 million acres of Alaska’s Tongass National Forest to logging and other forms of development, according to a notice posted Wednesday, stripping protections that had safeguarded one of the world’s largest intact temperate rainforests for nearly two decades.

As of Thursday, it will be legal for logging companies to build roads and cut and remove timber throughout more than 9.3 million acres of forest — featuring old-growth stands of red and yellow cedar, Sitka spruce and Western hemlock. The relatively-pristine expanse is also home to plentiful salmon runs and imposing fjords. The decision, which will be published in the Federal Register, reverses protections President Bill Clinton put in place in 2001 and is one of the most sweeping public lands rollbacks Trump has enacted.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/climate-environment...

For years, federal and academic scientists have identified Tongass as an ecological oasis that serves as a massive carbon sink while providing key habitat for wild Pacific salmon and trout, Sitka black-tailed deer and myriad other species. It boasts the highest density of brown bears in North America, and its trees — some of which are between 300 and 1,000 years old — absorb at least 8 percent of all the carbon stored in the entire Lower 48′s forests combined.

It's actually slightly surprising to me that the odds on Pence are so long.

Several people have speculated that Trump may resign if he loses, so that Pence can pardon him, and whilst it's just speculation, it's certainly a possible outcome.

I doubt it. His ego wouldn't let him.

Remember a pardon means you've admitted guilt to a crime, you're just being let off the punishment.

With the amount he's messing with elections this is time around, if he manages to steal this election, he doesn't have to worry about a pardon as he'll never be charged.

I can't work out if he has to be elected in his own right to win the bet.

No it doesn’t. A presidential pardon can be presumptive of any charge.

Full get out of jail card, for federal crimes.....

Wouldn't put anything past 2020, so £20 at 250/1 was worth it for the entertainment value.

The White House’s science policy office on Tuesday ranked “ending the Covid-19 pandemic” atop the list of President Donald Trump’s top first-term accomplishments, even as the country registers record amounts of infections and hospitals fill up again.

The list, included in a press release from the Office of Science and Technology Policy credits the administration for taking “decisive actions to engage scientists and health professionals in academia, industry, and government to understand, treat, and defeat the disease.”

It’s the latest inaccurate claim from the administration on the severity of the pandemic, which Trump has downplayed throughout his reelection campaign, and as Vice President Mike Pence’s office is dealing with an outbreak. Trump, who insists the country is "rounding the turn" on the coronavirus, continues to hold packed campaign rallies and attacks the news media for focusing on surging infections.

Despite the White House’s optimistic rhetoric, health officials warn that things could get worse as winter approaches and people are forced to spend more time indoors.

Last week, the country set a new record of 83,000 cases in a single day, and the seven-day case average is now hovering around 70,000 — more than any other time during the pandemic. Over 42,000 people are hospitalized with Covid-19, up from about 30,000 one month ago, according to the Covid Tracking Project.

The US is running at over 1000 deaths and day, over 75,000 new cases a day, now the worse country in the world

Thats not the reason.

European stocks have taken a battering too, it's mostly related to a resurgence of virus cases, subsequent lockdown increases and a likely double dip recession. You are also seeing selling off to take profits from the gains over the last 7 months.

This dip plays into Biden winning, as it hurts Trumps 401K it's the economy stupid strength.

How much will they be able to do before Biden reverses this in January?

Yes, but the difference is I don't care if people don't believe I put on that bet so I have nothing to prove. I don't support Trump however.
