After trump abandoned thousands of his supporters in the cold..

Biden on the Omaha debacle: "It's an image that captured President Trump's whole approach in this crisis ... He gets his photo op and he gets out. He leaves everyone else to suffer the consequence of his failure to make a responsible plan."

Why now? Woodward doesn't come out of this well,Kushner never does. They played politics with peoples lives, only caring about trumps reelection.

Jared Kushner told Bob Woodward in April that Trump had cut out the doctors and scientists advising him on the unfolding coronavirus pandemic. In a taped interview, Kushner said that Trump was "getting the country back from the doctors."

President Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, boasted in mid-April about how the President had cut out the doctors and scientists advising him on the unfolding coronavirus pandemic, comments that came as more than 40,000 Americans already had died from the virus, which was ravaging New York City.

In a taped interview on April 18, Kushner told legendary journalist Bob Woodward that Trump was "getting the country back from the doctors" in what he called a "negotiated settlement." Kushner also proclaimed that the US was moving swiftly through the "panic phase" and "pain phase" of the pandemic and that the country was at the "beginning of the comeback phase."

"That doesn't mean there's not still a lot of pain and there won't be pain for a while, but that basically was, we've now put out rules to get back to work," Kushner said. "Trump's now back in charge. It's not the doctors."

The statement reflected a political strategy. Instead of following the health experts' advice, Trump and Kushner were focused on what would help the President on Election Day. By their calculations, Trump would be the "open-up president."

The White House could have traced and contained its COVID-19 outbreak. It chose not to because they didn't want it know, so hushed it upinstead...

"It's only unknowable if you don't want to know," a former CDC director says.

There are long-standing protocols for investigating the spread of a virus: contact tracing, or interviewing infected people about their recent interactions and advising those exposed that they should get tested. There’s also a more cutting-edge technology that can map the spread of a virus by tracking tiny changes in its genetic code. The Trump administration did not effectively deploy either technique in response to what Anthony S. Fauci, the nation’s top infectious-disease specialist, has called a “superspreader event” at the White House, leaving not just the president and his family and staff at risk, but also the hundreds of people who were potentially exposed.

Officials say the White House called off early efforts to get to the bottom of the outbreak, including sequencing the genomes of virus samples from infected individuals. This genetic analysis could have revealed shared mutations that linked cases in Washington and other affected communities.

Had the administration done such an investigation, it would know whether infections among aides to Vice President Pence that were reported this past weekend bore the same genetic signature as earlier cases at the White House. That could indicate whether the virus was circulating among administration officials for weeks or had slipped through infection-control measures a second time.

many peoplelpointed out that in the rush to support trump, Kavanaugh made many mistakes in his legal brief. Justice Kavanaugh quietly concedes one error (of the many that exist) in his Wisconsin election opinion after getting publicly owned by the State of Vermont.

https://edition.cnn.com/2020/10/28/politics/vermon...

Remember, Kavanaugh directed the court rejected a Democratic bid to allow Wisconsin to count ballots returned up to six days after Election Day. This is all about preparing ground for court battles after trump loses the election

Kavanaugh did that thing where he tried simply to make the change look minimal in the document rather than reflecting on and reworking his language to actually account for the screw up—even though everyone watching could see clearly he messed up in a big way.

the light yellow box is covering the word “not,” quite the opposite then to what he argued...

Vermont Secretary of State’s Office
@VermontSOS
We have formally requested that #SCOTUS correct the erroneous claim by Justice Kavanaugh that #VT has not changed voting procedures for the #2020Elections due to #COVID19. When it comes to issuing decisions on the voting rights of American citizens, facts matter.

Remember also that team trump crippled the USPS just as the Supreme Court got ready to rule that postmarked ballots that arrive after Election Day don’t count!

Elizabeth Warren
@SenWarren
The @USPS Board of Governors are acting as accomplices to Louis DeJoy’s sabotage of the Postal Service. They need to release their financial disclosure forms, remove DeJoy, and do their jobs by reversing DeJoy’s actions.

Speaking of Fox lies

fox news presented this person as just "one suburban mom" and "freelance journalist" voting for trump. the fuller story is that she's also a former senate republican comms staffer, a former lobbyist, and has many (opinion) bylines at the daily caller and fox news

The second highest ranking officer in the US Space Force has tested positive for coronavirus, the US Air Force said in a statement Wednesday.
"General David D. Thompson, Vice Chief of Space Operations, tested positive today for COVID-19. He took the test today after learning that a close family member, with whom he had contact, tested positive for the virus," the statement read. "In accordance with established COVID policies, General Thompson is self-quarantining and working remotely from home."

No stimulus, no policy on CV-19, no attempt to stop outbreaks. trump knows he's losing and is going for a scorched earth policy, he's going to try to leave Biden an even bigger mess to clear up.

SCOTUS is staying out of the PA election fight for now. In separate statement, Alito suggests that the court could potentially intervene after the election if late-arriving ballots change the results. Here’s the order. Justice Barrett did not participate.

Translation: even this Republican SCOTUS thinks Trump is going to get creamed but reserves the right to intervene and hand him the election if it’s close.

This is how trump steals the election.

Speaking of Giuliani

Remember last year Giuliani’s associates Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman were arrested along with David Correia.
It's being reported that Correia will plead guilty today, despite keeping a very low profile.

Parnas shared thousands of files that the House Intelligence Committee used to build a case that Trump abused his office to manufacture dirt on his political rival, former vice president Joseph Biden and Giuliani's part in it.

Federal prosecutors declined to comment on what counts of his indictment Correia plans to plead guilty to or whether he intends to cooperate in the prosecution of Parnas, his co-defendants, or potentially others who have not been named. Correia, however, has been charged with the two key conspiracies that prosecutors hope to prove at trial next year: illegally funneling foreign money into U.S. elections and duping people to invest in Fraud Guarantee, a company that reportedly paid $500,000 to Giuliani.

At least seven alleged victims invested in Fraud Guarantee, putting in hundreds of thousands of dollars for a total of more than $2 million. Prosecutors say that’s because Parnas and Correia misled them about how much they had contributed to the company and how much money the company had raised overall.

Strange timing, a business associate of the personal attorney to the President of the United States has suddenly decided to plead guilty immediately before the election.

Two years ago a “senior official in the Trump administration” wrote an op-ed in the New York Times, ripping Donald Trump to pieces, and keeping his or her identity a secret in the process. The Times knows who this person is, but to this day, none of us do. Speculation was all over the map, but the story ended up fading. But now it’s back.

George Conway tweeted yesterday: “I had an amazing conversation this morning with … Anonymous. Anonymous is a true patriot. We’ll all be hearing a lot more from this person very, very soon.” He posted a link to the 2018 New York Times op-ed, leaving no doubt that he’s referring to the “Anonymous” who wrote it. When former Trump aide AJ Delgado criticized this person for having remained anonymous for so long, Conway retorted with “Anonymous has shown a lot of fortitude. You’ll see.”

Miles Taylor, former Chief of Staff to Kirstjen Nielsen and Chad Wolf at DHS, confirms he is 'anonymous'.

Make no mistake: I am a Republican, and I wanted this President to succeed. That’s why I came into the Administration with John Kelly, and it’s why I stayed on as Chief of Staff at the Department of Homeland Security. But too often in times of crisis, I saw Donald Trump prove he is a man without character, and his personal defects have resulted in leadership failures so significant that they can be measured in lost American lives. I witnessed Trump’s inability to do his job over the course of two-and-a-half years. Everyone saw it, though most were hesitant to speak up for fear of reprisals.

Removing Trump will not be the end of our woes, unfortunately. While on the road visiting swing states for the past month, it’s become clear to me how far apart Americans have grown from one another. We’ve perpetuated the seemingly endless hostility stoked by this divisive President, so if we really want to restore vibrance to our civic life, the change must begin with each of us, not just with the occupant of the Oval Office.

Another good piece, another republican appalled by trump

Edit: Chris Cuomo to Miles Taylor: "You lied to us....Why should CNN keep you on the payroll after lying like that?"

Of course, I'm fulling expecting our resident QAnon nutter on the other thread to say that the FBI, Fedex, USPS have millions of deep state employees all looking out to destroy this evidence...

Tucker claims they had “pictures of the package they sent”, but they never thought to make copies.

Was it a reuse of trumps blank paper of his health policy book, or those piles of blank paper that he claimed were documents he'd signed to divest himself of his business?

To be fair, when it comes to a legally binding document you have to send the originals to ensure it's not a forgery.

That last part is why it's obvious that said documents is a steaming pile of made up horse st.
