Serious question - what percentage of Americans genuinely believe that the election was rigged and Trump actually won?
A search throws up wildly different answers - nothing clear. Does anyone know?
Apparently, a significant majority of Republicans believe the election was stolen.A search throws up wildly different answers - nothing clear. Does anyone know?

Anecdotally, I can definitely report from FB comments of friends of American friends/colleagues that this seems indeed to be the case. They just can't seem to accept that trump really lost, and many seem to be waiting for something to break any day now like Carrera Lightweight does on here.
Baffling.

Judge not impressed!U.S. District Judge Linda V. Parker ruled against a request from Sidney Powell — an attorney disavowed by the Trump campaign who still champions its causes — to force the state to award its electoral votes to Trump despite President-elect Joe Biden winning the state.
"In fact, this lawsuit seems to be less about achieving the relief Plaintiffs seek — as much of that relief is beyond the power of this Court — and more about the impact of their allegations on People’s faith in the democratic process and their trust in our government," reads a portion of the 36-page opinion.

On the scale of weirdness this is right up there. Given that she's been sacked off by Trump, reducing her chances of being paid for her 'services' from zero to less than zero, what on God's green earth is in it for her other than prolonged humiliation? Does she not have a partner or a family to gently lead her away from this?kowalski655 said:

That happens after live streams. I think the host needs to set it up as a public record video now. Happens all the time when I'm late for a live-streamed race of some kind, rewind to the point I care about then half way through the race it goes private GroundEffect said:

That happens after live streams. I think the host needs to set it up as a public record video now. Happens all the time when I'm late for a live-streamed race of some kind, rewind to the point I care about then half way through the race it goes private I've been looking at the comments on quite a few YouTube videos on OANN, Newsmax & NTD, and the level of ignorance is both gobsmacking and scary. So many seem to want a civil war to kick-off, and there's plenty of talk about uprisings and taking things into their own hands. And all because one idiot won't stand up and tell them that he's exhausted the legal processes and, contrary to what he had suspected, it appears that has in fact Biden won fair & square.
The Trumpsters fall for every conspiracy story about voting machines, trucks carrying things (who'd have thought it?), people appearing shifty, etc., and no one bothers to check whether any of it is true. Their main argument for Trump winning appears to come down to things such as the size of his rallies compared to Biden's safer, low-key approach. That seems to be all the proof they need. What's also noticeable is the number of supportive comments from people in the UK; apparently we're all ardent Donald fans!
Every judge that has ruled against one of the court cases is now part of the deep state conspiracy, as are all the Republican election officials, certain Governors and of course the recent addition to the list - Honest Bill Barr. They ignore all the stuff that Barr has done to protect Trump from prosecution, and are now convinced he's been on the other side all along.
Sadly, you have to hand it to Trump - he knows how to get these lunatics following his every word, and exploits them to the max without them even realising. I think Biden will have a hugely difficult, verging on impossible job to influence any of these people, most of whom are saying they won't recognise him as their president. Good luck Joe!

The only thing I'd like to see handed to him, apart from his ass on a plate, is the sheaf of writs and subpoenae that's been stacking up against him throughout the full four years of his infestation. S7Paul said:

I don't understand a lot of the language used by the Judge, but sounds like Powell has no clue what she is doing. Long thread of minute by minute here:

Breadvan72 can hopefully confirm, but AIUI "rules from the bench" means the judge didn't even need to go away and cogitate on this. The decision was made directly - and orally - in court (but is followed up by a written one, I assume...?) paulguitar said:
