On the scale of weirdness this is right up there. Given that she's been sacked off by Trump, reducing her chances of being paid for her 'services' from zero to less than zero, what on God's green earth is in it for her other than prolonged humiliation? Does she not have a partner or a family to gently lead her away from this?
It probably doesn't help if I say she spent most of the 2000s defending various companies and individuals involved in the collapse of Enron does it ? At one point she even accused the prosecutors of overreach FFS. I guess she just likes flogging a dead horse?Since then she's mostly been writing poop for right wing websites, not least an article suggesting that Flynn should have rescinded his guilty plea due to "government misconduct"
She must still be in the pay of Trump (or at least submitting bills), he just wanted to distance himself from her because even he thought she's as mad as a box of frogs.
Are there any more cases in the pipeline or are they all done now ?

Speaking of Antrim County, there is already an explanation of what happened there, see https://www.michigan.gov/documents/sos/Antrim_Fact... TL;DR some machines did not report results for the unofficial results, this was spotted and manually corrected before results were confirmed.
Oh by the way, Trump won the county 9.7k to 7.2k. Seems unlikely to me that dear old Rudy is gonna prove anything.

Is that how it works? Bugger.
I don't understand how someone so openly racist can remain on a forum like this but hey...Back to Trump.
It appears that the "independent" Amistad Project that is part of the Thomas More Society to make spurious legal challenges to the election may not be that independent after all.
Jenna Ellis the ranting senior legal council for Trump is also special council to the Thomas More Society. The link would indicate a coordinated effort by Trump which in turn puts the tax free status of the TMS at risk and undermines an already totally discredited attempt to overturn the election. Interesting article here:

Yes, I should've said Republicans are truly mental.
I'd go further than that, while there's undoubtedly lots of support for Trump there were lots of votes for republican candidates in the other parts of the ballots that didn't support the president. So some (lots), but not all republicans are mental.

I don't understand a lot of the language used by the Judge, but sounds like Powell has no clue what she is doing.
Breadvan72 can hopefully confirm, but AIUI "rules from the bench" means the judge didn't even need to go away and cogitate on this. The decision was made directly - and orally - in court (but is followed up by a written one, I assume...?) Finally
The Trump admin has fully restored the DACA program that shields hundreds of thousands of young people from deportation, complying with a federal judge's order.
The Department of Homeland Security posted on its website that it is accepting new applications, petitions for two-year renewals and requests for permission to temporarily leave the U.S.
The department said it “may seek relief from the order,” signaling that its concession to the court order may be short-lived if its legal efforts succeed.
The announcement is still a major victory for young people who have been unable to apply since Trump ended DACA in September 2017. His administration has long argued that DACA is unconstitutional.

Still carrying on with trumps CV-19 denial, with another move by Ron Johnson
The lead Republican witness at a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing on COVID treatment has opposed vaccine requirements in the past. Democrats are objecting to her presence at the hearing.
Democrats are objecting to a doctor who has previously opposed vaccine requirements being featured as the lead witness at a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing Tuesday on COVID-19 treatment.
Dr. Jane M. Orient is the executive director of a group of conservative doctors that have fought against government-backed healthcare and staked out controversial positions in the medical community on vaccines, abortion and AIDs. Called the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, the group previously described federal vaccine mandates as “a serious intrusion to individual liberty.”
Orient, whose testimony was first reported by The New York Times, is scheduled to appear before the committee remotely.
A Democratic Homeland Security Committee aide tells NBC that Chairman Ron Johnson never consulted Sen. Gary Peters, the top Democrat on the panel, about the scope of this hearing or the witness list, who were selected by Republicans.
“It is unfortunate that during this worsening public health and economic crisis, the witnesses chosen for tomorrow’s hearing will amplify theories that are at odds with the broader scientific community and, according to experts, could cause harm," Peters said in a statement. "These fringe views run counter to what the Senate should be doing — working on a bipartisan basis to protect the American people and tackle this deadly pandemic.”
