I think it's probably because the coverage is on the cities which are generally strongly (often 90%+) democratic. There was probably plenty of celebration and protest in republican areas, but getting they media out to a town of 500 in rural Wyoming just isn't going to happen. 4 years ago it was national mourning/protest and now it's a national celebration. How does that work when they're split nearly 50/50? Why no mass street protests from GOP voters at the result like we saw from Dems in 2016?

I'm not sure why a few UK trump supporters are upset. We have 4 years now to see how the lefties will fk up their country before we decide who we vote for.
