The guy isn't just a 'state level official' he's New York Governor. He's been a darling of the party, a popular and outspoken figure. Some consider him presidential candidate material.

AW111, he's not just any Democrat.

It's news. It's relevant. It's relevant because he's embroiled in potential scandals about such things as covid and sexual harrassment. Some of these things are being investigated and are being taken seriously.
The party is considering action against him, AT THE MOMENT.
Suggestions about 'impeachment' have been made.
He's been touted as presidential material in the past.
He was very outspoken at the peak of the Covid pandemic. Now it seems he may have contributed to the effect of the virus in his state.

It's a thread about Biden and, by extension, the administration and the party.

And if it isn't then why don't you criticise talk about the SD GA or Ted Cruz? They're not Biden. they're not the administration. I don't need to ask you that really.

No idea why the SD GA came up. As for Ted Cruz, he's in the Senate and was ever so slightly involved in the childish games around challenging Biden's presidency, so is relevant.
