Imagine voluntary admitting residing exclusively inside a far-right-extremist-wingnut-fake-news echo chamber. Then imagine pretending that you're an arbiter of truth.
You've got to be a st troll. Nobody is really that moronic.

the criticising of the current POTUS on this thread is far more reserved than of Trump by Dem fans and others on the Trump one .
And why do you think that is? Logic suggests that it might be linked to Biden having done very little to draw significant criticism whereas trump spent almost every day involved in some kind of huge scandal. Sometimes more than one at a time.
In fact it's been asked many times to describe anything Bidens done wrong and there's very little, in fact they are struggling, hence trying to claim his dog wasn't presidential, trying to claim they were cancelling Dr Zeuss, all sorts of ridiculous stuff, whilst ignoring the GOP efforts to introduce further voting restrictions

Meanwhile grown up stuff is getting done

There are now more people in the U.S. fully vaccinated against COVID than people who've had COVID since the pandemic began.

The $1,400 stimulus checks included in the $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief bill passed by the Senate over the weekend could be sent to millions of Americans by the end of the month, the White House said Monday.

Speaking to reporters, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that the Treasury Department was still “working on” the exact timeline of the rollout but that the White House expected “a large number of Americans to receive relief by the end of the month.”

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds on Monday signed into law a Republican-backed bill that makes it harder to vote early, potentially eroding a key aspect of Democratic campaigns.

Republicans in the House and Senate quickly approved the voting changes over the opposition of all Democratic legislators. Republicans said the new rules were needed to guard against voting fraud, though they noted Iowa has no history of election irregularities and that November's election saw record turnout with no hint of problems in the state.

Reynolds said election integrity must be protected, claiming the law provides election officials with consistent parameters for Election Day, absentee voting and database maintenance

“All of these additional steps promote more transparency and accountability, giving Iowans even greater confidence to cast their ballot,” she said in a statement after signing the bill.

Democrats said they’re examining their reliance on early voting. In the last election, more than 70% of Democrats voted early.

“We don’t have to wait to get people registered to vote. We don’t have to wait to have Democrats talking with their neighbors in rural and metropolitan areas in the state about how these harmful pieces of legislation are being forced through,” said Iowa Democratic Party Chairman Ross Wilburn.

The law shortens the early voting period to 20 days from the current 29, just three years after Republicans reduced the period from 40 days. It also requires most mail ballots to be received by Election Day, rather than counting votes postmarked by Election Day that arrive by noon on the Monday following the election.

Voting sites will close at 8 p.m. rather than 9 p.m., and county election officials are banned from sending out absentee ballot request forms unless requested. Satellite voting sites also can only be set up if enough voters petition for one, and voters will be removed from active voting lists if they miss a single general election and don’t report a change in address or register as a voter again.

The Senate has passed President Biden’s American Rescue Plan, and not one Republican voted in favor, some preferring instead to manufacture lies.

Ted Cruz claims that “illegal aliens” will receive stimulus checks.
Dick Durbin quickly shot him down with the truth: “The statement of the senator from Texas is. Just. Plain. False.” As Durbin accurately pointed out, undocumented people do not have social security numbers and accordingly cannot receive stimulus checks. And just in case you didn’t notice, they didn’t qualify in December, when 92 of us voted for that measure.”

Direct payments of $1,400 to citizens earning under $80,000, aid to state and local governments (watch how GOP states spend that), the unemployed, veterans, tax credits/aid/childcare for families along with additional help for farmers, small businesses, more money for vaccines and healthcare etc, Additional funds for the US crumbling infrastructure of which nothing was done under the previous administration, who preferred to divert money to a vanity project (that the mexicans would pay for...).

No republican voted for it, despite a Public Policy Polling survey revealed that 77% of voters support the healthcare provisions of the bill (including 56% of Trump voters and 58% Republicans overall); 74% support relief checks (52% of Trump voters and 61% Republicans); 72% support capping insurance premiums (only 11% opposition); and 71% support funding to increase vaccine distribution and COVID testing (51% Republicans and 72% people over 65).

GOP senator Tom Cotton has attacked the stimulus as a crazy democrat idea as prisoners (who recently filed taxes) might get a stimulus cheque.... despite that exact same provision being in BOTH Trump stimulus plans,AND him voting for it!

The South Dakota House of Representatives voted on Monday to halt impeachment proceedings against the state attorney general over his conduct in a fatal car crash last year while he still faces unresolved criminal charges from the accident.

The lawmakers voted 57-11 vote to suspend further impeachment action against the state’s top law enforcement official, Republican Jason Ravnsborg. The move marks a sharp turnaround after both Democratic and Republican politicians had called for his ouster.

The clamor reached its peak last month after state authorities took the extraordinary step of releasing video of police interrogations of the attorney general and other evidence from the Sept. 12 crash, in which his car struck and killed a man walking along a highway.

As well as objecting to the GOP using his name, he's trying to direct donations to his account rather than the GOP

He didn’t start his own party, which is complicated to do and be competitive, but Trump is trying to set himself up as the place where money for Republicans should go as opposed to GOP committees

The Republican Party intends to keep using former President Donald Trump’s name in fundraising pitches and other materials, a lawyer for the party said on Monday, despite a cease-and-desist letter from Trump last week.

The letter sent by lawyers for Trump on Friday to the Republican National Committee, National Republican Congressional Campaign and National Republican Senate Campaign had ramped up tension between the two camps as Trump seeks to preserve his political viability post-election.

A Trump adviser said on Saturday that Trump was sensitive to the use of his name and likeness for branding purposes and was irked the three groups have supported Republican lawmakers who joined Democrats in voting to impeach him over the Jan. 6 storming of the U.S. Capitol by Trump supporters.

In a response letter, the Republican National Committee said that Trump “reaffirmed” to RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel over the weekend that he approves of the party’s current use of his name, wrote Justin Riemer, the RNC’s top lawyer.

The party also argued it had “every right to refer to public figures as it engages in core, First Amendment-protected political speech.”

The letter indicated Trump would participate in the party’s donor retreat scheduled for next month in Palm Beach, Florida, which is home to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.

If that's genuine, it's quite concerning.

But not unusual for someone of his age, perhaps why he hasn't given any press conferences.

Better keep him away from the big red button in case he thinks it’s to call nursey

Fear not Paul, the pickings will become much more fruitful when he finally starts carrying out press conferences!

It's going to be car crash viewing at its finest/saddest.

With the various Twitter accounts you follow and subsequently post here, every time Biden stutters, fumbles for words or takes a long breath, you'll be all over it. With his lifelong stutter and age, this will likely happen fairly regularly, which no doubt you will enjoy very much.

I'm rather perplexed you showed no such concern whilst his predecessor lied, bullied, grifted daily, and generally dismantled the country.

Not bad, I was expecting the Trump comparisons in your first reply.

Also, I don't follow anybody on twitter. I don't have an account, never have, never will have an account in that cesspit. It's just easier to find short videos on there to link rather than post a link to a long winded article.

As you were buddy.

I look forward to Biden calling for Cuomo's resignation.
