Must be tough as they are quite close buddies.https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/202...
People often become friends with people similar to themselves.
Oh, edited to add for the benefit of HM-2...

Not really sure what you're trying to achieve here, other than blatantly but misguidedly white-knighting in defence of your ideological buddies.
Really?Merely pointing out that it must be tough for Biden, being close to Cuomo and now finding his friend politically and, potentially if the allegations have substance, morally toxic.
If Biden can remember his name, I expect he'll say something about it if things take a formal turn.

Judging by Noodle's past predictions, Cuomo will be exonerated and elected pope.
Have you found the missing votes yet Noodle?
He's been too busy ignoring Trump's gaffs, extreme.grifts and the fact Biden has done more as President in a month than his hero did in 4 years. Have you found the missing votes yet Noodle?
Adults are back in charge and it's making it very hard for the children on this thread to accept what they're seeing.

Notable by the radio silence from the 'Biden camp' on here about the clip showing him struggling to finish a sentence. It does not look as if he is stuttering, more something other. Is it hard to accept that what you see there can be a problem? Is it hard to show concern or empathy........Is he failing? Is there some truth in the sleepy Joe thing? Because if he goes what is the alternative.

However, you must have me mixed up with someone else. I've not posted anything regarding missing votes. I was banned from the trump thread loooooooooooong before the missing vote claims.

As opposed to Trump, who would pardon him and give him a job in the cabinet! Or maybe invite him to Epstein island, which,as we all know, is a place he was VERY fond ofIf Biden can remember his name, I expect he'll say something about it if things take a formal turn.

Yes, really. I'm not sure why you decided to retrospectively edit a dig at me into your post even though I wasn't involved in discussion with you. The only reason I can think of is that you think DB_11 is unable to defend himself, ideologically speaking, and he needs his fellow travellers' support to save him from the cognitive dissonance of his cryptofascist echo chamber being opened. captain_cynic said:

The Senate has passed President Biden’s American Rescue Plan, and not one Republican voted in favor, some preferring instead to manufacture lies.
Ted Cruz claims that “illegal aliens” will receive stimulus checks.
Dick Durbin quickly shot him down with the truth: “The statement of the senator from Texas is. Just. Plain. False.” As Durbin accurately pointed out, undocumented people do not have social security numbers and accordingly cannot receive stimulus checks. And just in case you didn’t notice, they didn’t qualify in December, when 92 of us voted for that measure.”
Direct payments of $1,400 to citizens earning under $80,000, aid to state and local governments (watch how GOP states spend that), the unemployed, veterans, tax credits/aid/childcare for families along with additional help for farmers, small businesses, more money for vaccines and healthcare etc, Additional funds for the US crumbling infrastructure of which nothing was done under the previous administration, who preferred to divert money to a vanity project (that the mexicans would pay for...).
No republican voted for it, despite a Public Policy Polling survey revealed that 77% of voters support the healthcare provisions of the bill (including 56% of Trump voters and 58% Republicans overall); 74% support relief checks (52% of Trump voters and 61% Republicans); 72% support capping insurance premiums (only 11% opposition); and 71% support funding to increase vaccine distribution and COVID testing (51% Republicans and 72% people over 65).
Other polls suggest similar figures

I look forward to Biden calling for Cuomo's resignation.
Rich white man in power abuses it, which isn't acceptable no matter which party. Remember how the Dems had members resign, whilst the GOP continue to support their colleagues?https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.timesunion.com/ne...

How do you feel about the 26+ women who accused your beloved saviour trump? Perhaps you'd like to comment on the two court cases currently running based on trumps sexual assaults?

You've jumped to conclusions. It is nothing to do with defending anybody. It was because you have criticised other people's choice of news source and dismissed their opinion as a result.I made the point that Biden and Cuomo are close. I posted the NYT article to support it. I then added the 'bias meter' (the same one you had used earlier) to illustrate the NYT was not known for untruths or against the Democrats.
Just one year after the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in the United States, the rapid pace of vaccinations and massive scale of fiscal stimulus spending will push the American economy to recover twice as fast as expected, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development said Tuesday.

President Biden’s $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief bill will fulfill one of his central campaign promises, to fill the holes in the Affordable Care Act and make health insurance affordable for more than a million middle-class Americans who could not afford insurance under the original law.
The bill, which will most likely go to the House for a final vote on Wednesday, includes a significant, albeit temporary, expansion of subsidies for health insurance purchased under the act. Under the changes, the signature domestic achievement of the Obama administration will reach middle-income families who have been discouraged from buying health plans on the federal marketplace because they come with high premiums and little or no help from the government.
The changes will last only for two years. But for some, they will be considerable: The Congressional Budget Office estimated that a 64-year-old earning $58,000 would see monthly payments decline from $1,075 under current law to $412 because the federal government would take up much of the cost. The rescue plan also includes rich new incentives to entice the few holdout states — including Texas, Georgia and Florida — to finally expand Medicaid to those with too much money to qualify for the federal health program for the poor, but too little to afford private coverage.
“For people that are eligible but not buying insurance it’s a financial issue, and so upping the subsidies is going to make the price point come down,” said Ezekiel Emanuel, a health policy expert and professor at the University of Pennsylvania who advised Mr. Biden during his transition. The bill, he said, would “make a big dent in the number of the uninsured.”

Regarding the Cuomo thing people have said they think he should be investigated and then prosecuted if the evidence stacks up.
What else is there to say?
And with regard to Biden and forgetting the name of someone - he's 78. I'm 51 and do it, so I'm not surprised he does. There are systems in place to ensure a smooth transition if he becomes incapacitated. I don't really follow the US news assiduously but to a casual observer he seems fitter and generally more sane than the previous incumbent.
Kamala Harris seems like a competent politician and maybe it will offer a chance to rehabilitate Hillary. Two women runninq the show would make a nice change. I'd be interested to see how they get on.
