I think we've already seen. If one cares to look.
We will have to disagree.

As divisive as Trump? No chance.
We’ll see...
It's a totally ridiculous comparison, nobody on the planet could possibly come close to trump's iness. He divided the USA probably beyond repair and left an entire party in tatters and a significant part of the population literally unable or unwilling to separate fact from fiction, living in a self/trump-created land of fantasy.

The damage trump did to the USA is immeasurable.

All he has to do is create a platform for the Dems to win elections.
If that alienates the core Trump support then it's tough st isn't it?

Have you seen what those dheads believe? You can't kowtow to bellends like that.

I agree that it is a totally ridiculous comparison but It wasn’t me that introduced the comparison to the discussion.

You are having your usual rant about Trump but it wasn’t really applicable in this instance.

This is the Biden thread and it was a question about one of his tweets and what may come of it.

Frankly, if he tweeted that the world is an oblate spheroid, Trump's core would suddenly claim it's flat.

Next thing you'd be on here asking if that tweet was divisive.

I was actually asking whether people though that the presidential tweet stating get a vaccine or continue wearing a mask might be divisive.

But you seem to have gone off on the Trump grr thing

My thoughts are that yes, it appears to be a divisive statement.

Going to war with the Germans was divisive at the time as well. Doesn't mean it was wrong.

Why would anyone who wasn't a dingbat find the tweet divisive?

I'd have thought the Venn diagram of trump supporters and anti vaxxers/maskers was pretty much a single circle.

Divisiveness is baked into the US political system until Trump and his acolytes are finished within the GOP, so everyone needs to work with that.

Sigh, not the tweet per se. The division that may be caused by introducing legislation that allows certain freedoms for people that have had the vaccination.

You’ve gone trump grr again

I think it's a really solid piece of decisive leadership. Anything he does is going to be divisive, because it's the USA after the mango Mussolini, so he might as well get stuff done.

I can't take anything you say seriously so I don't think I'll bother replying to you again.
It was a mistake to reply as I don't believe you post in good faith.

As it was for me to engage with you as I don’t believe you post in good faith either

We’ll leave at that.

Thoughts? Vaccination card to prove your status?

Divisive?
Decisive.
True but will it be divisive?
Why would it be? Only a weapons grade moron would refuse to get vaccinated.

So will it upset a few weapons grade, Trump supporting morons? Probably but who cares.

True. But apparently you're not allowed to make comparisons. Unless of course it's comparing Biden to dementia patients...

If you want to lose the mask but you're waiting and waiting for your turn to get vaccinated then I can understand you might be frustrated.
They're one third fully vaccinated at present.
Wouldn't it be less problematic, or even easier to administrate/police, to wait until everyone has been vaccinated and let everyone stop wearing the masks together from the same point in time onwards? In it together?

That is everyone who has taken up the option to get the vaccine. Anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers will be a nuisance anyway.

Mostly the same people. Also mostly Republicans, so unlikely to be any more irate than they already are at the fraudulent election myth.
