He divided the USA probably beyond repair and left an entire party in tatters and a significant part of the population literally unable or unwilling to separate fact from fiction, living in a self/trump-created land of fantasy.

I'd have thought the Venn diagram of trump supporters and anti vaxxers/maskers was pretty much a single circle.

Divisiveness is baked into the US political system until Trump and his acolytes are finished within the GOP, so everyone needs to work with that.

If you want to lose the mask but you're waiting and waiting for your turn to get vaccinated then I can understand you might be frustrated.
They're one third fully vaccinated at present.
Wouldn't it be less problematic, or even easier to administrate/police, to wait until everyone has been vaccinated and let everyone stop wearing the masks together from the same point in time onwards? In it together?

That is everyone who has taken up the option to get the vaccine. Anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers will be a nuisance anyway.
