The bit that will do for him won't be the office affair, it'll be if he hired her on that basis.

One is a moral failing - and fks his home life - but isn't necessarily terminal career wise these days.

Giving someone an official job at taxpayer expense because you're shagging is a whole different thing though.

Cough <Boris> Cough.

Obviously being London mayor and giving over £100,000 of public money is OK?

He'll have loads of people saying it's just a snog and we need to get off our high horse
But
She was paid for by the public purse
And
We've been told what we can and can't do in our own homes, all led by this .

It's just taking the piss

Defending the Tories as usual.

They really are the pits in the morality stakes and what you imagine they will do, they do it seems

Maybe Boris is just hoping that Hancock will resign so he doesn’t have to sack him and the problem will just go away without him having to act.

Hancock, weaselling lair that he is, seems like he’s more resilient (or just completely lacking in empathy, decency and self awareness) than the government realise.

Hopefully he goes soon and someone more competent will replace him.

Funny as it is to watch, it pretty horrendous when you realise they’re in charge of managing the country and our response to a pandemic.

Maybe Boris leaked it himself?

Hancock will go now. He’ll resign, he has no choice.

In some respects it’s a shame as I suspect he’s one of the best options for that job.

But he can’t stay now, no hope.

Is that a covert camera? If it is an open cctv camera, hoe stupid care these people?

Was that ever proven? They should have nailed him over that if so.

Everyone knows he did it but did the investigation get anywhere?

If he is the best option who is the worst option?, Typhoid Mary?, Dr Shipman?

It's going to be off the CCTV, non covert.

I think you already know how stupid these people are but it won't have made any difference as *everyone* will have known what was going on. Even the pattern of hiring was a well trodden and recognised thing.

The camera footage is a bonus but the press will have known about this long ago.

After the Cumming revelations it was hard for BJ to sack Hancock, having left him in role for so long. Now presented with an opportunity to have him resign by facilitating the leak of a grainy picture, it’s a win-win for him. He loses a whipping boy, but another will be found. For MH to let himself be stitched up like this is very silly, on multiple levels.

Don't think so.

As for Hamcock, he's fked. Or rather not, by his wife at least.

And if Hancock doesn't go, what will the PM do? Sack him for the affair?
