She really is laying herself open to a libel/slander case given the outcome of the criminal trial...https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/19118371.nicol...
Lim: seriously were you watching a repeat from some earlier FMQs?
She refused to answer anything, falling back on the committee and essentially punched back hard on any questions stating they were motivated either by party political motivation or by the true criminal of the piece, Salmond.
Absolutely shameful display.

It’s not mutually exclusive. Didn’t see any punches land. Lim: seriously we’re you watching a repeat from some earlier FMQs?

There are plenty of people who have no time at all for Alex Salmond but care very much about whether the first minister used the police to discredit a political opponent and the crown office to cover it up. If she lied that's a resignation issue in itself, but even those who don't care whether she lied would be a bit curious as to why she lied.

I can see whyAs TRUE scots love their government and would NEVER question the leader
And the TRUE scots fully accept that people should be jailed for questioning dear leader
As nothing is more important than dear leader

Surely that would be malfeasance in a public office which certainly in the rest of the U.K. is a criminal offence that can attract serious jail time ! It’s somewhat beyond misremembering
Full wording of Jim Sillar's complaint worth reading.

Breach of ministerial code by using public health briefing for spouting forth on Salmond where previously she declined to take questions on the subject.
Secondly casting doubt on the verdict of a jury.
