Breaking news!! The Scottish Greens have lost their backbone. On the BBC they are reported as intending to vote with the govt in the no confidence motion on Honest John Swinney.
They had a backbone?

They are the SNP gardening division

Another sexual harassment claim for the SNP. This time it is from a male party worker and Blackord is in the firing line for the way he handled it.

Can they not just look up the minutes of meeting to see how it was viewed at the time?

I see Rangers FC have published a rather damning letter to them.

Don’t care for football but it is a very fact filled letter and blows the rubbish spouted out the water.
I did enjoy reading the listed details of each meeting. It’s almost like the people at the club wanted to keep records to cover their back. Surely all politicians would do that too...

They must be the only Green party on the planet who don't campaign on Green issues and cosy up to a Nationalist Government obsessed with oil.

Recently one of them said we should "ban Grouse shooting and use the land for forestry plantations", Yep that sounds like
a well thought out plan, destroy our dwindling moorlands which are habitat for many threatened species like Curlew, Hen Harrier,
Short Eared Owl, Dunlin and Golden Plover, and cover it with acidifying monoblock conifer plantations largely devoid
of flora and fauna. FFS.

The Greens, green behind the ears and utterly clueless, An absolute joke of a party.

A trifle inconvenient for the FM that Ibrox is in her constituency and the club tried to get her to engage with them months ago to come up with a plan to deal with the possibility of fans celebrating this title win. Perhaps those letters ended up in one of the many new shredders by accident laugh

They want rid of the grouse shooting as rich people go grouse shooting

They would happily destroy the hunting estates merely to get one over on those evil rich people and anyone who has lost their jobs in the industry can be ignored as nothing more than unionist boot lickers

horrible bloody party

They realised that they only get list votes from SNP supporters. Lose them and they're off the gravy train.

As an aside, this is an excellent parody of everyone's favourite Green MSP: https://twitter.com/grossrear
May have been linked on here before though!

After living in Ireland for 18 years and watching the machinations of minority governments over and over I can tell you that the first things to be burned on the pyre in the pursuit of the grasping greed for power are ethics and ideology .......

It's inside the British embassy. There's several Scottish international offices - Beijing, Brussels, Paris, Washington, Ottawa, and a few others. There's even one in London.

Well the Committee have found their backbone at long last and are following Salmond's advice to request the document trail from his solicitors Levy & McRae. This might get interesting.

It happened because Salmond engineered it to happen. Having rolled the hand grenade down the table towards the Committee at the end of his evidence giving what else could they do having failed to get Sturgeon, Swinney, Wolffe et al to release the documents, the whole documents and nothing but the documents?

To not follow up on the invitation given to them by Salmond would be negligent in the extreme and bring huge criticism upon them. Salmond gave them no choice!

Or maybe they want to ban grouse shooting cos only dheads want to shoot living creatures for sport/fun in the year 2021. Not to mention the damage done by burning massive swathes of land. Nor shooting and catching other birds and animals on these estates as they may affact grouse numbers.

Shooting is a sport enjoyed by a tiny percentile of tweed clad wkers. So in a nutshell - fk them.

I seem to recall one of the less anonymous Greens saying they would raise the top rate of income tax as a point of principle, even if it didn’t raise additional revenue overall.

After scotland is free

Would you like to see all hunting banned?

How about fishing?
