Think it'll be a great game. England will run out winners but scotland will show massive fight but lack of anyone who can score will stop any chance of a win.

Bain is going to sit in Sturgeon's cabinet whilst simultaneously being Scotland's top law officer, In addition she's married to a senior criminal judge.

Fantastic news for all the present and future scandals to come then. The Scottish judiciary...Impartial and unbiased, hmmm.

The £600k was getting some coverage on Radio Scotland this morning, in line with the SNP's new Treasurer.

However, the soundbites were rather revealing. We had Sturgeon (in what I think was a historical recording) saying that "every pound received has been spent on the fight for independence." So, I guess that's the line. The £600k may well have been spent, but it's been spent on "the fight" so that's good enough. Forget about ring-fencing.

Anyway, the football's tomorrow night, so I'm looking forward to the education report slipping out...

In Edinburgh for a wedding.
Walked up the Royal Mile yesterday.

These posters are in a number of shops.
Obviously Chief Mammy’s not impressing everyone.

Amusingly, the castle has the Union Jack flying from the roof.

I notice a stoney silence from SNP re the hated “Westminster government”, getting US tariffs for Malt Whisky and Cashmere removed.
Few mumbles of “ it’s only for 5 years”, from the distillers but that’s it.

See this guy doing the rounds on social media - drunk as a skunk and roaming around central London. Very fortunate not to have caused serious injury to himself or others.

Loads of tartan army types down for the game, quite disruptive in family tourist areas over the last two days such as Sth bank & Cov garden.
I would be surprised at such tolerance if English fans went to scotland en masse?
First sentence of the BBC Shortbread article on this:

BBC said:
Thousands of Scotland fans have been enjoying an "amazing atmosphere" in London ahead of the team's game against England later.
The jolly little scamps.

That wasn't the official line of the BBC, nor Chief Mammy, on the Rangers supporters doing similar.

Well, colour me surprised...

It would seem that the SNP *aren't* going to sneak the education report out while the football's playing tonight.

It looks like it will arrive on Monday: https://www.oecd.org/unitedkingdom/scotland-s-curr...

BBC headline is that London is “hosting” the Tartan Army… like there’s some sort of invitation and consent involved hehe
