They are dumb enough to still keep claiming the US isn’t a republic, despite being republicans. This is some high level stupid we are dealing with. They can carry this on for a long time.
There's still a significant number won't get vaccinated because it's Bill Gates putting tracking chips in them, because they believe trump it's not needed, teh virus is all a hoax

Ignoring that trump quietly got vaccinated the other day at Mar-a-Lago

Given the numbers we saw yesterday, is say it largely has burned itself out.

Morons who only half heartedly supported Q Anon and Trump are seeing that there are real world consequences for being a weekend revolutionary. Many of them don't want to lose their jobs or families... Let alone end up in federal PMITA prison.

Former House impeachment manager Eric Swalwell has sued former President Donald Trump, his son Donald Trump Jr., Rudy Giuliani and Republican Rep. Mo Brooks in a second major lawsuit seeking to hold Trump and his allies accountable for inciting the insurrection at the US Capitol on January 6.

The new lawsuit filed on Friday by Swalwell, a California Democrat who helped to lead impeachment arguments against Trump for inciting insurrection, follows a similar suit filed last month by Rep. Bennie Thompson against Trump, Giuliani and the extremist groups the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys. Swalwell's case makes some of the same claims as Thompson's -- citing a civil rights law meant to counter the Ku Klux Klan's intimidation of elected officials.

But it also alleges Trump, Trump Jr., Giuliani and Brooks broke Washington, DC, laws, including an anti-terrorism act, by inciting the riot, and that they aided and abetted violent rioters and inflicted emotional distress on the members of Congress.

"The Defendants, in short, convinced the mob that something was occurring that -- if actually true -- might indeed justify violence, and then sent that mob to the Capitol with violence-laced calls for immediate action," the lawsuit, in Washington, DC's federal District Court, alleges.
The lawsuits will unfurl as Trump faces mounting pressures in investigations by House committees that seek his financial records, as well as in criminal probes related to his private business and his post-election actions. He has not been charged with any crime.

A member of the far-right nationalist Proud Boys was in communication with a person associated with the White House in the days just before the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol, according to a law enforcement official briefed on the investigation.

Location, cellular and call record data revealed a call tying a Proud Boys member to the Trump White House, the official said. The F.B.I. has not determined what they discussed, and the official would not reveal the names of either party.

The connection revealed by the communications data comes as the F.B.I. intensifies its investigation of contacts among far-right extremists, Trump White House associates and conservative members of Congress in the days before the attack.

The same data has revealed no evidence of communications between the rioters and members of Congress during the deadly attack, the official said. That undercuts Democratic allegations that some Republican lawmakers were active participants that day

Separately, Enrique Tarrio, a leader of the far-right nationalist Proud Boys, told The New York Times on Friday that he called Roger J. Stone Jr., a close associate of former President Donald J. Trump’s, while at a protest in front of the home of Senator Marco Rubio, Republican of Florida. During the protest, which occurred in the days before the Capitol assault, he put Mr. Stone on speaker phone to address the gathering.

A law enforcement official said that it was not Mr. Tarrio’s communication with Mr. Stone that was being scrutinized, and that the call made in front of Mr. Rubio’s home was a different matter. That two members of the group were in communication with people associated with the White House underscores the access that violent extremist groups like the Proud Boys had to the White House and to people close to the former president.

Obviously it doesn't work in reverse when he's illegally using music at rallies, not only without permission but usually after being told not to.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who's investigating whether Trump illegally interfered with Georgia's 2020 election, has hired an outside lawyer who's a national authority on racketeering.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has enlisted the help of Atlanta lawyer John Floyd, who wrote a national guide on prosecuting state racketeering cases. Floyd was hired recently to “provide help as needed” on matters involving racketeering, including the Trump investigation and other cases, said the source, who has direct knowledge of the situation.

The move bolsters the team investigating Trump as Willis prepares to issue subpoenas for evidence on whether the former president and his allies broke the law in their campaign to pressure state officials to reverse his Georgia election loss. Willis has said that her office would examine potential charges including “solicitation of election fraud, the making of false statements to state and local governmental bodies, conspiracy, racketeering” among other possible violations.

A representative for Trump did not respond to requests for comment.

CREW requests DOJ records on Giuliani Ukraine investigations

Former-President Trump’s “personal lawyer” Rudy Giuliani has continued to avoid accountability for spreading disinformation about the 2020 election and the public deserves answers around his actions. Giuliani’s communications with Ukrainian officials were highly suspect, and some appeared to align with Trump’s efforts to use Ukrainian officials to gain a political advantage in the election, for which Trump was impeached in December 2019.

While both the FBI and U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York launched investigations into Giuliani, search warrants in both were quashed by then-Attorney General Bill Barr’s DOJ. The DOJ first told prosecutors that the investigations were too close to the 2020 elections and had the potential to alter results, and then later when prosecutors refiled, that because election results were being disputed in several states the investigations could not continue. If Barr was politicizing the DOJ and using it to protect Trump and his allies, then the public deserves to know.

CREW has requested DOJ records on the investigations into Rudy Giuliani, including any subpoenas or warrants from the FBI and U.S. Attorney’s Office for the SDNY.

The records will shed light on Giuliani’s activities in Ukraine and reveal if he illegally lobbied the Trump Administration on behalf of the Ukrainian government to attempt to alter the outcome of the 2020 Presidential election. Barr routinely protected Trump and his allies from scrutiny and his abuses of power were only addressed by a change in administration. Now, there is an opportunity for a fuller picture to emerge around DOJ’s interference in these investigations and paths forward to hold Giuliani accountable for potentially illegal actions.

The Manhattan criminal case against Donald Trump now includes the Trump Organization’s skyscraper in Chicago, according to CNN. In what has become a clear trend in the criminal case, the focus is on Trump’s longtime pattern of fraudulently inflating the value of his existing properties in order to obtain loans.

The Manhattan district attorney's office subpoenaed documents from an investment company that loaned the Trump Organization millions of dollars for its Chicago skyscraper in a sign that the investigation into the former president's finances continues to expand, according to people familiar with the investigation.

Prosecutors issued the grand jury subpoena to Fortress Investment Management late last year, the people said, as part of their wide-ranging investigation into former President Donald Trump and his company.
Investigators' interest in how Trump and his company treated the Chicago loan is an expansion of an inquiry that encompasses multiple aspects of the Trump business.

Prosecutors are examining whether the company misled lenders or insurance brokers about valuations for certain properties. They are also investigating fees paid to consultants and a conservation easement taken on a New York family estate called Seven Springs.
Their interest in Fortress relates to a $130 million loan the company made to the Trump Organization for the construction of a luxury hotel and condo tower in Chicago.

By 2012, Fortress subsequently forgave more $100 million of the loan, which, including interest and fees, was worth about $150 million, according to court filings. The forgiveness was done to secure a partial re-payment of about $45 million at a time when the real estate market was suffering from the financial crisis.

Prosecutors with Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance's office are looking into whether Trump and the Trump Organization recorded the loan forgiveness as income, as required by the Internal Revenue Service, and paid the appropriate taxes, the people say.

Oath Keepers member Robert Minuta was arrested yesterday, accused of an unspecified criminal role in the January 6th attack, according to the New York Times. This is a big deal because Minuta was provided “security” for Roger Stone around the time of the attack and there's many reports that Roger Stone was closely coordinating with the Oath Keepers group on and around January 6th and also with trump.

Not only does it mention the story above but also another January 6th suspect, who somehow had the wherewithal to jump onto a plane to Kenya to hide out immediately after the riot.

Kenya? Hardly the place where you would expect an average Gravy Seal to even know exists let alone would flee too. However someone who really did have links to Special Forces? That might be a little more likely.

Didn't help him..
Isaac Sturgeon, a national from the United States who fled to Kenya after allegedly participating in the white supremacist mob attack in the January 6th, 2021 chaos at the Capitol in Washington was this weekend deported from Nairobi, Kenya.

The 32-year-old man was deported on Friday by Kenyan immigration and police after they were informed he was in Nairobi, where he had been since January 24th, with plans to stay there until April, as he was apparently on holiday

Sturgeon is accused of picking up a metal barricade at the US Capitol and using it to shove back police officers who were guarding the building.

He then tried to crawl under barriers to get into the Capitol, according to federal investigators.

On arrival in New York City, Sturgeon was promptly arrested by the FBI, who were waiting for him at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Cohen has had a 7th meeting with prosecutors.

Donald Trump’s former lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen, said he would go in for a seventh interview on Wednesday with the Manhattan district attorney’s office pursuing a criminal investigation into the former U.S. president.

In a brief interview with Reuters, he likened a March 1 U.S. Supreme Court decision denying Trump’s last-ditch effort to keep his tax records private to the “holy grail” for Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance Jr.’s investigation into whether the Trump Organization committed financial crimes.

After that ruling, Vance’s office obtained millions of pages of records from Trump’s accountants at Mazars USA LLP, including tax returns and the business records on which they are based, and communications between the Trump Organization and its accountants.

Cohen declined to comment on what he expected to discuss in Wednesday’s meeting with Vance’s office, which would be conducted virtually because of the coronavirus pandemic.
