Maybe Trump is promoting the story that he would be re-stated back into the WH by August to prevent Allen Weisselberg grassing up on him? i. e. Allen W, take one for Team Trump and I will issue you with a pardon once I get back into the WH.
trump was just repeating the story he'd heard that day, the Qanon theory with yet another date that didn't exist. A desperately drowning man clutching at any straw

St. Louis couple who pointed guns at protesters plead guilty to misdemeanor charges.

The St. Louis couple who made headlines last year for pointing their guns at people protesting near their home pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges, according to court documents obtained from the city of St. Louis on Thursday.

Mark and Patricia McCloskey drew national attention in June 2020 after they were seen on video brandishing guns outside their mansion and pointing them at protesters, who were walking on a private street toward the home of the St. Louis mayor.
In videos posted to social media, Mark McCloskey is seen holding a long rifle and Patricia McCloskey a handgun as demonstrators -- who were protesting then-Mayor Lyda Krewson's decision to publish the names and addresses of people in favor of police reform -- walked past their home.

As part of the plea agreement, Mark and Patricia McCloskey agreed to surrender their handgun and semi-automatic rifle, according to the documents.

A federal judge wants every attorney whose name was on court filings seeking to overturn Michigan's presidential election results in the "Kraken" suit there to show up for a sanctions hearing on July 6.

The hearing is actually on three separate requests for sanctions - by Detroit; Michigan's governor and secretary of state; and a voter who intervened in the case. It's open to the public and will be on Zoom.

among other things, this is the case in which lawyers for ex-Trump attorney Sidney Powell claimed she can't be sanctioned because she never signed the pleadings, even though she electronically signed them.

Arizona fraudit news- another fact check n the recent disinformation claims (big lies)

Ahead of a hearing on the lawsuit seeking to inspect images of Fulton's absentee ballots for fraud, a pair of pro-Trump media outlets have pushed false and misleading stories about the county's absentee drop box documentation and risk-limiting audit forms, implying or outright stating — but without real evidence — that the already-certified election should be overturned.

One claim is that Fulton County is missing hundreds of transfer records for thousands of absentee ballots deposited in 38 drop boxes ahead of November's election, with an implication that the missing paperwork could or should invalidate more ballots than the margin of Biden's victory.

Earlier this week, a pro-Trump media outlet that has amplified calls for a so-called "forensic audit" of the election kicked off a firestorm of criticism, asserting the county was missing 385 absentee ballot transfer forms used to document how many ballots were retrieved from drop boxes daily and suggesting the provenance of nearly 19,000 ballots were questionable.

This comes from an ongoing open records request that the Georgia Star News made to Fulton for all transfer forms from the Nov. 3 election. The media outlet only received a portion of Fulton's forms.

According to Georgia Star News, an elections worker emailed the outlet stating that "a few forms are missing" and that "some procedural paperwork may have been misplaced" and the county disputed that 19,000 ballots were unaccounted for.

But after GPB News asked the county Monday about the forms not included in the Georgia Star's records request, elections staff located all but eight of the more than 1,500 forms, sent them to state investigators and provided them to GPB News on a flash drive.

Edit: Remember from yesterday that Arizona’s voting “data,” has been trucked to a “lab,” on a farm in Montana near Bigfork.

The Montana property is owned by the CEO of the company doing the “audit.” There’s a house and a barn there. Referring to a barn as a laboratory is a stretch.

U.S. prosecutors for the first time have charged a defendant in the Jan. 6 Capitol breach with violating a federal law that makes it a crime to transport a firearm or explosive for unlawful use in a riot.
Four defendants in the Capitol riots have now been charged with firearms offenses. Is this under the new law trump brought in to use against BLM protestors?

Four defendants in the Capitol riots have now been charged with firearms offenses. They have been accused respectively of bringing five loaded guns and 11 molotov cocktails in a truck; carrying a loaded semiautomatic handgun and large-capacity magazine at the entrance of the Capitol Visitor Center; and threatening elected officials after arriving in Washington with a semiautomatic rifle, Glock handgun and more than 2,500 rounds of ammunition.

Many charged defendants allegedly carried knives, bats, crowbars and other weapons to the Capitol.

The rare weapons charge was handed up Wednesday in a five-count superseding indictment against Guy Wesley Reffitt, 48, who prosecutors say brought a rifle and semiautomatic handgun to Washington and recruited members to a right-wing Texas Three Percenters group claiming he had created a new security business to circumvent gun laws.

“We can get ammo and weapons available to law enforcement. . . . The fight has only just begun,” Reffitt allegedly wrote, Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeffrey S. Nestler said earlier this year.

Reffitt, of Wylie, Tex., previously pleaded not guilty to three charges of obstructing Congress’s joint session to confirm the 2020 presidential election results, trespassing on restricted Capitol grounds and witness tampering. Prosecutors in court filings said he brought an AR-15 rifle and a Smith & Wesson on his trip, and was recorded telling his family he carried them to the Capitol.

“I did bring a weapon on property that we own. Federal grounds or not. The law is written, but it doesn’t mean it’s right law. The people that were around me were all carrying, too,” prosecutors quoted Reffitt saying in a court filing.

The Justice Department on Thursday released horrifying new police body camera footage from the January 6 assault on the US Capitol, after CNN and other outlets requested the tapes.

The footage was used in the case against Thomas Webster, a former Marine and retired police officer from the New York City Police Department accused of participating in the Capitol attack.

Prosecutors say that the 56-second tape shows Webster, wearing a red coat among a large crowd of pro-Trump rioters, screaming profanities at officers, threateningly wielding a flagpole, and finally rushing at the officers, who engaged in hand-to-hand combat with him and other members of the mob. One of the officers eventually wrestles away the flagpole, but Webster then tackles the cop to the ground.

In addition to the new video, photos in charging documents show Webster straddling and grabbing at the officer who was wearing the body camera and was thrown to the ground. He has been charged with seven federal crimes, including assaulting police, unlawfully entering Capitol grounds with a dangerous weapon and civil disorder. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Another Capitol insurrectionist arrested

Acriminal complaint with an arrest warrant was issued against alleged Capitol rioter Anthony Joseph Scirica after federal investigators saw evidence of Scirica allegedly inside the Capitol on Snapchat with a caption that said, "Anthony made it on TV."

According to the complaint released by the Washington D.C. District Attorney's office on June 14, after the Jan. 6 Capitol riots, investigators received several tips stating that Scirica, whose age and hometown was not released, was inside the Capitol building during the riots.

Investigators interviewed two separate witnesses that both identified an individual seen in photographs taken inside the Capitol as Scirica, the complaint said. The photographs provided by a tipster, identified in the complaint as a former co-worker of Scirica, were screenshots taken from an Inside Edition report of the Capitol riot, according to the complaint.

The complaint said that investigators also received a video recording of Scirica's Snapchat account on Jan. 6 from a tipster.

From the doctor that said trump weighed 239lbs and 6'3", comes

Conservative Texas Congressman Ronny Jackson announced Thursday that he wants President Joe Biden to take a cognitive test to prove his mental stability.

It's a curious request given Jackson's work in Donald Trump's administration as a physician who protected the former Republican president from any questions about his medical health including the cognitive ability.

Trump infamously described the "difficult" test that Jackson gave him in which he was required to remember simple words like, "Person, woman, man, camera, TV."

It was signed by 13 other Republicans

What Trump is, is a bully. And that negotiation tactic tends not to go so well when you’re up against someone who is way better at being a bully than you are.

Because, as we know, the GOP now has a new and much more convenient 'stop them voting' plan designed to ensure that the black vote won't matter in future elections.

Some might take a more cynical view that wasn't a straight compliment, unless Putin has suddenly changed?

Probably better in the other thread not here in Trumptown.

Putin’s game is to destabilise. It’s therefore likely to be intended as something that can read as anti-Biden (iow with a wink towards the “knowing”) and anti-Trump (iow compared to his predecessor) depending on the audience.

Bullying requires an imbalance of power favouring the bully. Trump has always used his wealth to achieve this... When he became president he had to star dealing with other world leaders as equals. He tried to bully them, they ignored him.

He has never had to treat others as equals before in his life. To him everyone is either dominant (his father, Putin) or subordinate (his siblings, employees, wives).

Precisely. Just like everything else he says, it's a horribly, warped & delusional lie. He's never negotiated a single thing, ever. He just bullies his way through on a wave of Cash, threats & Bul***t. The very second he comes up against an adversary even equal to him, he loses because he's incompetent, staggeringly thick, poorly educated & well, catastrophically disastrous. Anyway, Windmills...........
