Clearly so called "censorship" is only problematic when its used against ideologies they support; they're perfectly happy to deny others their opinions if they happen to conflict with their precious little snowflakey echo chamber.

Does PH towers ever ask themselves why an account that has been dormant for over 200 months suddenly burst into a frenzy of posting and it’s always on NP&E?

As someone whose moderated or administrated on maybe 10 independent community forums over the last fifteen or so years I can only assume there are some non-written rules handed down by the owners to the staff responsible for upkeep but not made clear to members around exactly what behaviours are to be tolerated and to what extent when it comes to things like this. Most forums- most forums designed for adults, anyway- have pretty similar rules when they're not corporately owned and usually citation of news and other articles in whole or part comes under fair use.The question of whether Byker was requested to stop doing so (after initially getting the OK from staff) before being banned is a highly valid one. I wonder if one of the particularly begrudged members forced action by reporting his posts to one of the outlets in question and informed PH Towers as such to force this outcome?

I see MX5Biologist is unhappy on the "how many have been vaccinated" thread too, to the point he's asked for his account to be removed, big loss imho as he always posts good information.
