I saw that - says he's tested positive and if he hadn't been vaccinated he'd be much worse. He is of course fully vaccinated
Not sure if this is still a GOP vaccines don't work, or they do work and minimise the risk/effect... There was something out last week saying infections of vaccinated people were a tiny risk and those had minor symptoms.

He had been on the Manchin boat party. Graham did vote to advance the infrastructure bill last week, which he won't be available to vote now because quarentine

Whilst Covid had a lot of impact, as the article points out, trump insists that he has created the greatest economy the world has ever seen which is completely unfounded, even before Covid.

The periods of highest GDP growth historically are all during Democratic administrations. Reagan tried the trickle down argument for lowering taxes and that didn't work either

I can guarantee if you showed the average republican a list of achievements/failures of both parties without telling them which is which, that they would almost all say the democrats do a far better job.

Yes, every Republican administration in the last 100 years has ended with the economy in recession.

Harding/Coolidge/Hoover: Great Depression
Eisenhower: Late 1950's recession.
Nixon/Ford: 1970's "Stagflation" - (stagnant economy + hyperinflation).
Reagan/DaddyBush: Stock market crash + recession.
BabyBush: Great Recession.
Trump: Recession brought about by failure to deal with pandemic.

Yet another reason never to let Republicans run America.

There's been a joint statement from the governors of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Rhode Island that they are appalled at the findings of the independent investigation by the New York Attorney General and that Governor Cuomo should resign from office.

Pressures building.
President Biden has called on Gov. Cuomo to resign.
Pelosi has praised those who came forward and called on Cuomo to resign
NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio said that Cuomo is not fit to hold office and can no longer serve as Governor and called for him to resign

Emails have come forward showing trumps acting head of DOJ's civil division, Jeffrey Clark, circulating a draft letter where he wanted trumps acting attorney general Jeffrey Rosen and acting deputy attorney general Richard Donoghue to investigate and declare Georgia for trump

Rosen and Donahue refused.

Days later Clark tried to get appointed as acting AG - wonder if that was what trump promised him for doing this?
