That must be painful to listen to as Biden waffles, warbles and goes off course
Clearly, you've never tried to make sense out of anything Trump says. He has the vocabulary of a 3rd grader and absolutely no knowledge of any policies. He is very good at sniveling and making everything about himself, however.
Voyds9 pops in occasionally to remind us how wonderful trump is, and how Biden is senile, old, dementia suffering, and has a corrupt son, ignoring all those things in trump, because he's been fully conned, a full paid up member of the cult. He ignores all evidence about trump yet believe all made up stuff about Biden.

There's no hope for him I'm afraid, the infection is complete. Hopes and prayers - obviously...biggrin

Edit: And yet, here we have Biden achieving something trump couldn't do or be bothered to. The Senate has cleared the 60-vote threshold to advance the $1T infrastructure plan toward passage. The vote was 67-27.

Ron DeathSantis is carrying out the trump/GOP plan to it fullest to try to make Biden look bad, only it's Floridians who are suffering. A record high 134,506 new Covid-19 cases over the week ending Friday, more than any other 7-day period during the pandemic, even at it's peak.

https://edition.cnn.com/2021/08/06/us/florida-covi...

The U.S. is now averaging more than 100,000 new coronavirus cases a day for the first time since February.

Former acting AG Jeffrey Rosen has cooperated with the trump insurrection inquiries. He met with the DOJ Inspector general inquiry last week and given them hours of testimony. He also met with the Senate investigation yesterday. He’s sharing his account ASAP in case anyone sues to prevent him from doing so.

Acting AG Rosen discovered that Jeffrey Clark had been engaging in unauthorised conversations with trump about ways to have the DOJ publicly cast doubt on President Biden’s victory.

Is this what drove Barr to resign, he'd seen the trump loss and bailed out. Remember trump tried to make Clark acting attorney general, obviously the Quid pro Quo for doing his dirty work
https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/former-a...

Sen Blumenthal said that Rosen presented new facts that he believes will force the Senate Judiciary committee to answer “profound and important questions” about the roles that individuals in Trump’s orbit played in the effort to undermine the peaceful transition of power.

Husband and wife Seattle police officers have been fired for taking part in trumps insurrection attempt. They had claimed they weren't any where near but video's showed otherwise.

Fox news are reporting that 6 off duty Seattle police officers attended trumps rally and insurrection attempt, and that the Everetts involvement became public knowledge after Caitlin Everett posted a photo on Facebook of her and Alexander Everett at the demonstration

The Senate has voted 68-29 to end debate on the bipartisan infrastructure bill, the last procedural hurdle on the path toward final passage.

Remember Pompeo being asked what happened to that expensive bottle of Whiskey that was gifted during his visit to Japan. Apparently it's just one of many items that went missing from the State Department’s gift vault as team trump left the building.

NY Times is behind a paywall, but it's sister paper the Seattle Times repeats all the articles for free biggrin

More about trumps acting attorney general Jeffrey Rosen and his two-hour meeting with the Justice Department inspector general testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee about trumps insurrection efforts

https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/former-a...

And the insurrection committee want the call logs from the WH, which leaves Biden whether to call them as executive privilege. He might as well hand them over because if he's worried he's setting a precedent for the GOP, they've shown they don't care and will do anything anyway.
https://edition.cnn.com/2021/08/06/politics/januar...

Edit: Ah and Donoghue is set to testify to the Senate this week according to Senator Dick Durbin on the sunday news shows. That will be two collaborating witnesses confirming what trump tried with the DOJ.

Remember trump asked them to say the election was corrupt and to leave the rest to him and the GOP congressmen...

I guess the thing to remember with Rosen is he's trying to do a Barr and rewrite history. Remember that Jeff Rosen made sure that SDNY couldn't expand its investigation into Giulianis work with known Russian agents in 2019/ 2020 as he tried to manufacture dirt against Biden.

He also played a key role in undermining investigations against Trump's closest allies.

Actually - remember that trump called Mike Lee during the insurrection attempt, but was trying to get through to Tommy Tuberville, then spoke to him for 5-10 mins.
There is a suggestion now that trump was trying to get Tuberville to raise objections to delay the Senate, knowing that the insurrectionists were already in the Capitol building

Tristan Snell is the former NY Assistant AG who prosecuted Trump University and won...

He makes to point to Jeffrey Clark that when his boss testifies for 7 hours against him, it might be time to lawyer up...
I'm sure trump will pay... oh hang on...

All of trumps former allies have disassociated themselves from Giuliani, as has trump. No one will even retweet his crowdfunding...

Meanwhile, people are saying that if Rosen is trying to get his story in first, they expect a flood of others keen to distance themselves...

President Biden has joined the Disney Hall of Presidents, the audio-animatronic exhibit in the Magic Kingdom. Biden is obviously front and center as he voices the presidential oath of office, but the trump robot has been pushed to the very last row beside Andrew Jackson.

Just like team trump - rats leaving?

Melissa DeRosa Cuomo's top aide has resigned. She was at the core of retaliation against cuomo's accusers and was mentioned 187 times in the report on Cuomo. Shae was also one who tried to cover up covid deaths.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/aug/09/ne...

Roberta Kaplan has also resigned from Time's Up after criticism of her ties to Cuomo and her involvement in an effort to discredit a woman who had accused him of sexual harassment.

According to this article Cuomo is saying he won't run for another term if they don't impeach him...

Agreed, and being a Democrat will be held to account, is being challenged to resign by his party

It's notable that the response to Cuomo's situation from most Democrats is that he should resign. A very stark contrast to the way most of the GOP has doubled down in supporting their disgraced guy.
