I haven't seen my GP for 30 years. In fact, my actual GP retired a long time ago and the practice has been swallowed up by a chain (Vine Medical Group) - which is probably why I haven't been contacted to have a jab, but that's another story most likely involving non-computer based records.

I don't have an NHS app because I haven't needed the NHS since I once gave myself arc-eye welding a Cortina and mobile telephones were a thing of fantasy fiction writing.
Why do I now need the NHS to go to the cinema?
You're a walking timebomb. It's your civic duty to help save the world by being pumped full of under-tested immunotherapy drugs. Have you no Shame?
It certainly does seem that I'm being disadvantaged simply because I'm not ill or unhealthy.
This. I take great care to eat healthily and get exercise, don't smoke or drink (well... not excessively biggrin). Haven't see my doctor in at least seven years or needed the NHS in that time. Yet somehow a 'passport' would deem me unclean/unhealthy, but some 25-stone gelatinous blob who has had the vaccine is OK? Perhaps they could link the digital pass with some requirement to complete a 10km walk/run every day (monitored by running machine/Apple watch, etc)... or even monitor what you are buying at the supermarket. Pizza - deduct 10 credits.... six-pack of Beer... deduct 15 credits...

However, once a digital 'health' (we know it won't end at 'health') passport becomes a requirement, who knows where the next 'acceptable' lines will be drawn? Which reminds me, I must watch 'Gattaca' again.

Well seeing as you're local, the pub was the Dog & Gun. It also took two reminders and about twenty minutes for the drinks to turn up. So yes, avoid.
frown Use to love that pub - always good for a sit down (usually amongst lots of tired but happy pooches) and great local beer after tramping the hills of the North Lakes. Another one crossed off the list.
