I guess ultimately you can have whatever definition you like, but in the UK if you ever get taken to court the test will be based UK law (not Woke Law).

The 1965 Race Relations Act & the 2010 Equality Act both refer to less favourable treatment on grounds of colour, race, or ethnic or national origins. There is no concept of the US's Critical Race Theory (unsurprisingly), as such, both white and black people (for example) have been prosecuted under these laws. Indeed, Michael X (UK Black Power Movement) was charged and imprisoned under the UK's Race Relations Act for advocating the immediate killing of any white man seen "laying hands" on a black woman.

The United Nations use a similar definition (which originated in 1966): any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference based on race, color, descent, or national or ethnic origin that has the purpose or effect of nullifying or impairing the recognition, enjoyment or exercise, on an equal footing, of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the political, economic, social, cultural or any other field of public life.

I'm no longer sure what happens in the US. I doubt even the inhabitants over there are sure.

There is an immense level of hypocrisy with the progressive hard left and all these woke signalling types in that they throw around terms such as racist to everyone who disagrees with them, yet they are demonstrably the biggest racists around in recent years.
I've never heard anything as stupid as "try to be less white".

It's more about power and authoritarianism than racial equality.
