Call me cynical but I find it very unlikely that a policeman is going to murder a complete stranger. My gut feel is that she knew the policeman and I further suspect she was having sex with him.

Either she met him in some way through her everyday life or they met through Tinder or some sort of swinger site.

She left her mates house at 9pm. Clapham Common is not well it, so would have been dark and pretty empty. A pretty slim blonde native english girl would surely know not walk through there?

That’s some terrible stuff to write on the public internet. Given her boyfriend is desperately looking for her.

I have come out with some rubbish either due to me not listening properly or not getting good info and have been put straight by someone who knows far more.

But I think speculating that she is having sexual relationships is awful unless you have strong evidence. Even if you do it’s not very nice. If I am kidnapped and or killed I hope people don’t jump to the assumption I was cheating on my partner with a gay lover if the wrong un is a male.

Statistically, most people who are killed get killed by someone they know, and more so with women. So Joey, whilst needlessly crude... has a point.

One odd thing, is that in the original appeal. The poster said:

Which suggests Sarah was upset about something?

Police officers are human

They are not exempt from the foibles of humanity

This will not end well I fear, the SIO on the case is smart and very switched on and arrests will be evidence led.

Going public with the occupation of the detainee will have been a Senior Command decision probably driven by the known associations of the missing girl and the knowledge of the arrest and occupation of the arrested person being known and in circulation

We can just hope for the best

If she used google maps on her phone then there should be some fine granularity to her timeline, unlike Apple Google are more inclined to help the authorities.

There's recently been a lot of hype in the media about during Covid woman 'taking back the night' from men (news report featured females walking in Greenwich park alone at midnight) so perhaps she was emboldened ?

I think it’s suggests nothing more than the family and friends hoping she has gone off on her own for a bit rather than the awful alternative.

And joey deacon needs pulling up on that post.

Wonder if the officer is the boyfriend she supposedly spent 15 minutes on the phone with.

Wouldn't be the first Met Officer accused murder/manslaughter and certainly won't be the last. Police officers are just normal people outside of their uniform, they commit acts like normal people and that includes heinous acts.
Are you suggesting murder is normal?

The bit she is presumed to have walked through is the South Circular, a busy A road with street lamps. She was not hacking her way through bushes along unlit trails or something like that.

There are some pretty awful posts here.

That's a standard Joey post. He had a bad divorce and it's left him a little damaged on his views of women.

Apple work with law enforcement authorities in the UK, under the IPA they don't really have a choice to or not. In fact, they've given emergency data to UK authorities more than any other country including America.

That's what people do, speculate, you have no more information than the general public or press so cool your jets.

I haven't mentioned names, I haven't libelled anyone.
Googling the bloke who HAS been named a her partner would give you his LinkedIn and you can quite clearly see he is not a police officer. Do some research before you talk ste.

As said above, Clapham Common is hardly Bodmin Moore, and the a205 runs right through it, as do endless traffic and buses. I live about half a mile from said area and of all the places, Clapham Common has never felt unsafe, and many many people walk around at night, alone, with people, walking dogs and whatever else, etc etc. The common of course is surrounded by housing, most of which expensive with a few estates chucked in the mix, it isn't a dodgy area in the slightest.

I live next to the common and I can tell you that even at 9pm on a Wednesday it is still very busy with traffic, dog walkers, runners etc. if you look at the path the police are suggesting she took then not once was she off a main road. As has been mentioned it's also overlooked by houses and flats so never feels deserted.

What's so surprising is she could just disappear in a busy part of London. Very concerning and especially so if you're a woman, it'd certainly make me think twice about leaving the house if I wasn't a stair dominating, powerfully built director.

Someone she knew? Potters off or is followed down a side street, bundled into a car, offski?

The whole "in plain sight" angle...
