With behaviour like that, he will eventually turn in to a cereal killer.

26 sex offences committed since 2016 by 33,000 Police Officers employed by the Met. I'd bet that's a much lower percentage of offenders than the general population.

26 is still 26 too many - and of course Police should be held to higher standards than the average. But to suggest "it happens a lot" just makes you look ignorant and lacking common sense.
In my thirty four years working for various firms, comprising tens of thousands of workers, I cannot remember a single incident where someone has been arrested and put away for sexual offences, not one and if it had happened people would know about it.
Good for you. You're either exceptionally lucky, or you're not as good as you think you are in knowing about peoples convictions.

Last year there were 148,000 sexual offences reported in England & Wales. Out of a population of 59 million. That's one offence for every 398 people.

In the Met Police there were 26 sexual offences reported by serving officers over a 5 year period. Thats 5.2 offences a year on average. Out of a population of 33,000. That's one offence for every 6346 people.

It's with some relief that it can be reported Kellogg's workers in the USA are on strike at the moment. So for now, they are safe - if out of pocket.

among the general population it's widely accepted that a majority of sexual offences goes unreported, hence recent initiatives by various forces to encourage more reporting. I reckon that a far higher percentage of those offences committted by police officers is reported, for various reasons. YMMV.

IMHO he gave no furks as to whether he was caught.
He expedited his wildest and sickest perverted fantasy.
That will satisfy him for life.
It was his life goal.
In his sick and perverted mind he is successful.
Life in jail to a man like him means nothing.
He can spank himself off every night with his memories.
The ultimate sanction, in my mind, is chemical castration. That'd really furk him off.
Same goes for paedophiles and all men or women convicted of sex crimes.

The article said 'people employed by the Met'. So you can add all the civilians PCSOs et al to the 33000 total.

Didn’t he try to do himself in by banging his head against the cell wall just after he was arrested? Doesn’t sound like some who is at ease with a future behind bars - unless he was going for the insanity angle?

Or wanted an easy introduction to prison life as he would be admitted to the hospital wing.

Can't agree that his memories will stay with him forever. Over time they will fade and had he not been captured I'd be very surprised if he had not attacked another female so he could achieve another high. And again and again.

Chemical castration using a drug called Prostap would reduce his testosterone levels to close to zero. Its used in the treatment of prostate cancer. No more sexual fantasies or 'urges' but the best bit, for Couzens, is the side effects. Difficulty sleeping, hot flushes, mood swings, depression, fatigue, weight gain, muscle and joint pain, headaches and dizziness - you get the picture. Injection every 3 months - only £225 a shot - so no pretending to swallow pills. This would satisfy those wanting castration.

Pretty much all of that is wrong.

I may not be up to speed with posting etiquette but what do we do now? Do we have to ask you nicely to tell us what’s right?

I’m certainly intrigued as the only person who could call out trophy husband and say his opinion on what Couzens thinks would be Couzens himself and I don’t think you’re welcome round here pal.

Couzens is being held in the Special Secure Unit according to the Daily Mirror. Way back in 1989 when working for a small engineering company I was sent to Belmarsh to fit the door locks in the secure unit. We made cell doors and the reinforced window bars designed to withstand a hacksaw as well. I was given a door lock one weekend ready to take very early on the Monday complete with a key to test fit before permanently fixing them all. They were fixed to the cell doors with shear bolts. The unit was close to being finished and the exercise yard with its anti helicopter roof was very impressive.

He sounds like one of the prigs who habituate the SP&L threads telling people how they’ve fked up and it’s all their fault.

What's a prig?

I feel like I've been transported back to John Brown's schooldays or similar.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately some posters will be along to defend the police.
