That pic looks line one of designer Lulu Lytle's home.

The URL says 'inside story', but it would.
Unless Lulu created a replica of her own home in the No11 flat, it is indeed a room in her own home (well, in 2016 at least). Seems frothing frisbee and the monkey have been led by the nose on this one as the biased articles intend realising the low intelligence of its readers and how easily led they are.https://www.standard.co.uk/insider/inside-story-nu...

However, if Lulu sticks to her style then there could be some similarities to Boris’ flat!!!!! Either that or it could be full of wicker chairs and tables.

It’s ridiculous arguing over Boris wallpaper when they still have the entire hospitality and travel industries on their knees for no apparent reason. I wish the press were quite as probing about that.
Agreed. It's a depressing state of affairs when football and furnishings are more important to the media and the twitterati than freedom and livelihoods.

The style that the flat is decorated in is utterly irrelevant.
To you and me, yes. But if you bothered to read the thread and posts leading to this it is a clear attempt to drag the style of decoration into another irrelevant and juvenile attack on Boris . . . . . you know pure grrr Boris stuff.Garvin said:

It's a pretty pathetic story of weakness and low corruption though, isn't it?The stuff about the style is just a distraction even though he deserves all the derision he receives.
My view. The indecision and constant changes last year really grated. It didn't affect me personally as my company moved to WFH from April, but I felt like we were being exposed directly to someone's current ideas rather than a firm plan at the end of a thought process. On the flip side, I see that he was trying to balance protection of the economy with protection of the population, and it was very difficult to do that and please everyone.
Right now, I completely forgive last year due to the vaccine roll-out. It puts us in a much better position. lt also highlighted the EU for what many of us already knew they really are in their current form.
The flat refurb: he's an idiot. It isn't a huge amount of money but he should know better. In view of the roll out however and delivering on EU Withdrawal, I can look past it.

It's just a little side order on the main dish.Despite claiming destitution following his divorce, from not being able to keep it in his trousers, a magical conservative money tree suddenly sprouted and Boris drank deeply from the the cup. And what will we do with poor old Dom eh Boris, better get him some of those brown envelopes pronto before he completely blows you out of the water with his iPhone I can see the entire cabinet looking at the the 'candid' conversations and wondering just what they did say, and if the conversations were deleted.
Juvenile, it's only just getting started. This is what happens when you put a train crash in charge of a nation.
The funniest thing about Boris financially ruining himself to pay for decoration his girlfriend wanted isn't the ruination, or the terrible decor, or that Boris obviously daren't say 'no' to her.
It's that all this cost and hassle is over a flat that isn't even his.
Imagine spending a massive chunk of cash tarting the place up and it's just a rental with a short notice period.
Guess he might not be too unhappy though as at least he gets to walk away from it at some point and it'll be someone else's problem to bin it all.

The Conservative Party could do the unthinkable and take a high stakes gamble on a new leader
It will take some time but I can already see that one very strong woman could take the party by the scruff of the neck and turn it back into the election winning powerhouse that is was.
Did you mean 'candidate'?It will take some time but I can already see that one very strong woman could take the party by the scruff of the neck and turn it back into the election winning powerhouse that is was.

To be fair I don't think that is his flat is it?I thought that was an example of a room decorated by the designer they're supposed to have used.

I actually like some of the toned down aspects of her style but the photos from number 10 look like they’ve gone for all the boldest bits and it ends up all being a bit OTT.
Apparently “minimalist scandi inspired interiors are becoming dull and it’s time to bring back colour exuberance and drama”
I doubt I’d find those red walls very calming myself and looks like Boris already has enough drama in his life tbh.

Do Cummings and Gove like her? She’s very popular with some on here so, like JRM there’s likely a place for her in government as long as she doesn’t keep making poor decisions and being the story.
