Issue...? what issue? just shut up and jab up. It's a little bit of a different tune being sung now.
I took my wife in to get her jab today, and there was an abundance of caution - in that they refused to give it to her, took her off to have a phone consultation where she was advised that she should not have any currently on offer, and could only have one at a medical facility where she'd be booked in for a half day for monitoring.

Their cause for concern was a reaction to the flu jab she had 10 years ago, young female re: AZ. I thought it was all rather bizarre, especially how they discretely ushered her away and then wouldn't allow her back into the main hall and had to leave via a separate exit. Don't want anything to alarm the other cattle I suppose!

This could have been pre-screened of course but the advice she was given goes strongly against the narrative, so no surprise they keep that clear and deal with exceptions discretely. They suggested that was the case when she queried it, GPs and NHS would "not be aware" so best to be discussed at the appointment with the specialist consultant. The covertness of it all bothers me, but at least there is some caution displayed.

Are people still genuinely not seeing what is happening?

Every time an announcement is about to be made a new super scary variant arrives and........

How can anyone still think this is about a virus?
Spot on mate; just a vehicle for change.

If life was returned to normal on 21st June I’d me more inclined to book my 1st jab, but what’s the point if SD and masks are going to continue.

The people saying we are moaning about having to wear a mask, can I ask if you have to wear it all day?

At work, 9-6pm?

It is starting to get really grim, especially as the weather is getting hotter.

(serious question) Are teachers not allowed to claim exemption/wear a lanyard?

Employers can ask for evidence of exemption in some circumstances.

Yes, approx 8am-5pm, unless I am in a room on my own, or in a large room where I can SD from others, which is rare.
My wife is a secondary head. If you chose not to wear a mask in her school there would be no sanctions. Just an acceptance you had an exemption.

BTW it’s completely legal to decide not to wear a mask. No explanation required.
While you don’t need to give an explanation and it is illegal for people to ask about your exemption it is not legal to just decide not to wear a mask without an exemption
How about I'm angry. Like really, really fking angry. Like so fking angry I'LL will rip your fking head off angry.

Will that give me an exemption. Pretty please.
Sounds like psychological distress to me.

A perfectly valid reason not to wear one.

‘To wear a face covering will cause severe stress and / or anxiety’

Surely more people should use this? I know I will be after June 21st.

Not that I go into shops much at all....

Apologies for the quality of the image.

No masks for the elite, freely mixing, alcohol flowing and big numbers.

And let's not forget they're all from different countries with nobody following traffic light rules.

Are you able to say I’m not wearing it any more ?

I'm not sure what the score is with kids wearing masks in school now whether its in the classroom or just corridors, I think its different for different areas but if I was a teacher and didn't want to wear a mask anymore then I'd make it very clear to all my pupils what the law around masks actually is.

Kids generally aren't taught about law in school, after all we need them to be obedient little slaves and them knowing their rights isn't what the authorities want so I would take it upon myself to make it very clear that no kid is under any sort of obligation legally to wear a mask and its their choice alone, not the schools and not their parents. Then see how many kids still wear a mask after that, when there all off throughout the school its pointless you wearing one.

MY mate did it with her daughter when they were supposedly compulsory in classrooms, the school tried to get him to say her daughter was exempt but he just said look, she isn't going to wear one because she simple doesn't want to and thats all there is to it.

Nostalgia time, we had a couple of teachers back when I were a lad that were prepared to go off script and talk about something completely different to the subject we were in for, I seem to remember one kid being upset about something, maybe his gran was really ill or something like that and we spent the whole period discussing what was going to happen and the reality of it all instead of a lesson in trigonometry. Those type of teachers really were the best you could have and they taught us so much more than you get out of school nowadays.

Be that teacher.

Seems pretty obvious to me. No doubt taken by one of those employees forced to wear a mask while those who enacted the laws totally ignore them in private while pretending to follow them in public. At least we know why so many world leaders caught covid. I only wear my snood in shops and have not followed the other laws for a year now but wearing a face covering for me ends on the 21st regardless...

Absolutely no conception of how this looks.

Its like the court of Louis XV1.

Just when you need a suicide bomber to shout about Alan's Snack Bar none are available.

Buggar.

It truly is a huge slap in the face for us all. Do as we say, not as we do is the message there! Oh how very pre school; yet most people are still falling for it and doing just that. A lot post on here calling people who are questioning things, fruit loops, and worse.

And people on here will still continue to call those out who question it all.

Sad times.

Those G7 pictures are absolutely atrocious. This has got to be the beginning of the end for this crap - covid measures at least, green agenda too hopefully. If not then nothing ever will and we are lost.

I have seen some wider rebellion on social media about these than I have previously so that’s encouraging.
