Remember the 'huge' jump in cases in Bolton, the one which means we will probably not unlock on the 21st...

Employers can ask for evidence of exemption in some circumstances.
Which circumstances? As in one from dr?

What's the definition of a 'case'? Is it the same as a positive test?

Those G7 pictures are absolutely atrocious. This has got to be the beginning of the end for this crap - covid measures at least, green agenda too hopefully. If not then nothing ever will and we are lost.

I have seen some wider rebellion on social media about these than I have previously so that’s encouraging.
They really are! Like kicking sand in al of our faces, globally. It’s a shocking display of elitism, and is surely a PR nightmare with the narrative they are pushing.

This is another pic from their shin dig. The workers muzzled liked unruly pets, while their masters enjoy themselves. Absolutely shocking! If things don’t unlock as intended on the 21st, then we really are being treated like dogs, muzzled dogs!

Without going all WEF world order etc about it - in all seriousness that's the same thing you would see in a restaurant with an outdoors terrace. You sit around at your table unmasked talking to those with you while the unfortunate sods serving you are still supposed to be masked up. I'm a little confused what the outrage is about.

Has this been posted previously ?

Not that it needed confirming, but official figures really do emphasise the difference in susceptibility between those with and without pre-existing conditions.

In a restaurant or terrace it’s masks off while SITTING in numbers no bigger than 6, to walk around it’s masks on! The whole conference has clearly been a free for all, apart from the PR pics where they all bump fists.

Yes, and remember we are told that if the younger people get it they then pass it onto the older folks who end up in hospital or dead. Especially in culturally diverse areas with intergenerational families . It must be true as a teacher from one of these areas said it...

Masked up and elbows for the cameras - a nice bit of theatre for the underclasses.

At the trainstation and mask usage is at an all time low, even the railway staff aren't bothering. And given the pictures from the G7, why would you bother?

Exactly. Then the beer flows and the theatre curtain falls of the track. laugh

AIUI, a 'case' used to comprise a positive result from a test which had been carried out after (and because) a patient demonstrated symptoms of a particular ailment.

Then along came Covid and the rule books were re-written.

Because they should lead by example, follow ALL guidelines and these people are from different countries which we cannot travel to/from without severe penalties.

It's groups of 30 outside but most pubs don't seem to have read the rules and have stuck to the 6 people to a table outside.

If that could be overlayed with hospital admissions as well I'm sure it would paint a picture.

I don't like it (obviously!), but I don't have a choice about it.

Edit to say: though clearly when I'm in a small room with 30 others for hours on end, there is some logic to it.
Unless you are clean shaven all day and wearing a properly-fitted half-mask RPE with filters speciified correctly for the target material, everything you breathe out will end up floating about the room anyway. Being in the room for long periods of time is even more reason to not wear it. That probably doesn't help you at all but I'm just pointing out the idicoy of the policy.

BBC now pushing the story that restrictions will stay at least until spring. I wasn't cynical enough. This is not meant to ever end
