Stories breaking on Twitter and Facebook that NHS workers are being told to book holidays now and prepare to for the next lockdown in September.

More and more are coming forward.

They are also hiring hundreds of extra staff to put in airports etc. for mass testing.

Anyone know any more?
Which pub were you in when you heard this nonsense?
My partner is a Physio in the NHS, my mother in Law is a Nurse and my Father in law is a Consultant working in 4 different hospitals. They have not mentioned this at all.
I thin the "stories breaking on Twitter and Facebook" bit was the giveaway there. MSM would be all over this if it were true. I also know a number of people who work in the NHS (and we liaise with a number at school) and they have not mentioned anything either.

Same pub that said we wouldn't have 'freedom day' on the 21st.

Chances of restrictions ending on 5th July are zero. Nil. Nada.

Government spin, as usual.

19th July, possibly some but you can forget any idea of life being as it was. They've terrified far too many people and seen how well it worked to give up this kind of control.

People are stupid. We know it, they know it.

The email, sent by a London NHS trust to clinical staff, says “national guidance on planning” has been issued telling hospitals to expect 50 per cent of the Covid cases seen in the first wave of the pandemic.

Why do cases matter any more with the vaccines being so effective?

numbers game -

significantly less cases but still enough to trouble the nhs i believe. and a fear of mutations - if that fear is warranted its not fully understood yet.

It’s discriminatory.

What are these ‘pilot projects’ a pilot for?

Have they done one where they just drop all restrictions and let people get on with life, because that’s the only future I am interested in.
You will be refused entry to Wimbledon if you are wearing ripped jeans or a shirt with a political statement on it and other items of clothing which the club deem inappropriate. It's a club so they can make whatever rules they like about the entry requirements as long a they follow the law.

In the longer term, Whitty said he anticipated that within five years, polyvalent vaccines will have been developed that will “hold the line to a large degree against even new variants as they come in.” But he added, “In the period over the next two or three years, new variants may well lead to us having to revaccinate or consider boosting. We have to be aware that covid has not thrown its last surprise at us.”

Considering the shocking state the NHS is in at the moment, a care home minibus braking too hard would trouble it.

My 82 year old dad says that he can’t remember his debit card PIN number since having the vaccine. I told him its nothing to do with the vaccine but probably because he hasn’t used it in 18 months since I have done all his shopping for him.

This thing is driving everyone bonkers.

Many, many reports of memory loss of up to 6 weeks after vaccination. Some total short term loss!

Went to IKEA yesterday, massive queue, we stood at the side with our kids and were let in (very kind of them) realised I didn't have my mask (I've avoided visiting places and the hot weather means a mask tucked in the jacket pocket isn't a certainty anymore) decided I didn't fancy braving the queues etc so just spent two hours without one. Lots of stares but no issues. However it's obvious this won't end overnight, freedom day will come and people will demand more safety even if the guidance ends companies will create a hybrid.

Our early vaccination head start has proved to be completely and utterly pointless. The U.S. is ending all restrictions getting back to normal. Europe is opening up before us.......the fascist dictators in downing street can't relinquish their power and our freedoms they've stolen.

Our debt continues to rise to record levels and sterling continues to plummet. The UK has been completely fked by our scumbag politicians. I'm looking at every conceivable option to leave the Country asap!
