When you step back and look at the present and predicted birth rates and statistics in London for example it is hard to make the case for the streets ever getting safer even if the police were allowed to do their job.

Yep

Her race is entirely irrelevant to the controversy. All professional tennis players are required to take part in press conferences, otherwise they will be fined. I have sympathy for her as she seems to be suffering from anxiety, but her race seems irrelevant to this particular issue.
I’m not so sure. Look at how the sport conspired to keep the Williams sisters down for so long. After they showed early promise the sport closed ranks against them ensuring they never made it to a grand slam final or had the opportunity to make a living from the sport.

We saw the same in golf with Tiger Woods.
Don't forget Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson.
Couldn't get a boxing licence due to the racist governing bodies.

Tiger Woods shouldn't have a driver's licence let alone a golf licence.

It seems that the other people at the party when Sasha was shot are still refusing to assist in finding her attacker.

I genuinely find this shocking that they won't assist, unless they didn't much like her.

It's amazing what being coked up on ideology does to your senses.

All looks par for the course.

I was quite shocked when I saw this footage because it's local and a nice area however a more shocking clip I saw was a machete fight between 2 white males, one with a Liverpool accent and the other sounding Eastern European, both displaying serious wounds.

Genuinely fascinated by the nature of what I assume to be rival gangs and their origins even if that is problematic to discuss..

If this is a gang related incident, they are either on one side or they dont want to get involved.

Par for the course, they'll be 'sorting' it themselves in due course. No-one talks to the police, reprisals from both sides if they do.
Large parts of the UK are broken but there's no political will to fix the problems (because they're expensive, controversial, complex and won't bear fruit within a political term).

Surely you'd want to protect your peers if you were an innocent civilian here

BBC Article says; Her mother, Ellet Dalling, said they had been left "devastated" by the shooting and her daughter's children keep "asking where their mummy is".

A question they were probably asking at 3 in the morning on the day she was shot.

It’s not shocking it’s just the way it is and has been for ever

Those that know know, and if there’s going to be retribution it will happen and they don’t want the po po involved

Those that don’t know and were caught up in it .. well they just want away and no involvement

As ransom examples of a couple I dealt with

A police patrol came across a BMW M3 convertible stationary in the middle of a major junction causing major traffic chaos .. the roof was down and it was the middle of the day .. the driver was riddled with bullet holes and in a bath of his own blood

Not one 999 call as traffic had been passing it for nearly an hour when the cctv was checked as the car was boxed in by others and hosed down with machine pistols

Another was a massive fight one night in Green Lanes just round the corner from the above .. we got the notification from the Alarms going off as multiple shop windows were being put through

On arrival in a completely empty kebab shop/restaurant with lots of hastily abandoned meals on tables was a severed arm on the counter with the machete that had cut it off still buried in it and the counter

No witnesses to either ... loads of people there ... no one wants to talk
