He's got us a hotel.......but it's in bloody New Quay.

I hope your boss didn't spell it like that when he was searching for accomodation eek
I knew I'd get picked up on that hehe

Mind you, on Google currently, it says 58 minutes Newquay to St Ives. I'm sure it'll be worse at the weekend.

I think we finish about midnight in St Ives Sat night but start 6am Sunday morning. Seems pointless heading to Newquay to get a couple of hours sleep.

Looks like I'll have to sleep in my car. Wish I wasn't almost 60. I need my comforts, like a loo twice a night hehe
Best of luck parking a car anywhere near St Ives.

Absolutely. I’d be parking at St Erth and getting the bus in!

I assumed the bus is going down the coach road which is still open isn’t it?

So basically more carbon emitted in this several day ttfest than us peasants can release in tens of years.

These is nothing that will be done than can’t be done on a conference call

Not forgetting the big military ship just off the coast and the portable radar station that's been installed near Gwithian (there are probably others).

And given all of the security, police etc in and around Cornwall at the moment, some muppet decides that leaving a suspicious package in a hotel in Falmouth would be a laugh

Well we could start by not voting them into power.
Really? From what i can see they are all the same, self serving in some form or another, just with slightly different rules they need us to abide to.

How big is Newquay runway? Does AF1 fit?!

Glad to see that in amongst all the whining and complaining someone else has the same question as me!
I'm guessing they checked that before they tried to land! biggrin

But it is about 2.8km runway, so plenty of room
I thought he flew into Suffolk?
And then joined the a303 , m5 traffic jam to Cornwall ?
He did fly into Suffolk first.

I see one of the Hotels has been shut because of a Covid outbreak, German delegates staying there.

So I guess all the leaders etc. will all have to self isolate now for 10 days if Covid is really a problem?

It's crackers, isn't it.

Everyone else has to stay at home and travel abroad etc is banned. These muppets roll up from all over the world and this happens.

Do as I say .........

Maybe we will get the shiny new G7 variant.

Doesnt show the scale of how big those American trucks are, the Perp is huge. Can easily imagine why they haven't got the Beast over.

Look how small the X5s look!

Having been up close to their motorcade it is seriously impressive stuff.
Why do the Americans go so over the top when the President is out and about compared to other countries?

Lots more people want to slaughter him? And reminding everyone who has the biggest willy makes them feel nice.

Just ensure he doesn't visit Switzerland. Dignitas may mistake him for a client.

He does look like a client that changed his mind and got up half way through the jab.
