Got buzzed a few times whilst surfing at Polzeath today by a Chinook. Thought it was pretty cool and bought Apocalypse Now to mind. cool
Those were Bell "Huey" UH-1 Iroquois
Looked and sounded like a Chinook, it had twin rotors/blades.
In the film...
Doh, blooming chopper anoraks. laugh

Got buzzed by a helecoptery thing yesterday whilst surfing in Cornwall, reminded me of Apocalypse Now. coolcoolcool

I'm quite pleased that the pictures emerging from the g7 party prove how stupid and hypocritical the morons are. hehe
All socially distanced of course.
Even our dear leader (or whoever controls his Twitter account) doesn't seem to notice, or care about, the hypocrisy

I got more of a Planet of the Apes vibe when those utter tools were posing at the beach:

They must have had to wait a while to get a pic without the armada of immigrants in the background trying to land.

After all the g7 bks right on my doorstep I've just had a health and safety covid "business spot check".

Cheeky fkers. I've barely left my village for 18 months and the world and his badly dressed wife has been here hugging kissing and generally mingling here and they want to make sure I'm behaving.

wkers.

Well if they've managed to get from France to the north coast of Cornwall in a rubber dinghy, I'd be tempted to let them stay.

Can you refuse them entry????
Our small business has taken a unanimous decision to tell any of the busybody hiviz clipboard s to turn around & fk off if they get anywhere near the front door. Luckily we have some powerfully built directors & a couple of staff who are giant ex paras to back us up. Not sure what the legal position is(???)

Wouldn't they need one of those warrant things?
Edited to add: we actually do have 2 powerfully built directors. One of them drives a Ford Mustang Shelby. & the ex paras is true also.
Anyway, violence would undoubtedly end in tears, as would a full verbal/threat. But do they have rights of access? I guess restaurants might not be allowed to deny access(??)
