Apart from us .. is anyone else discussing it?

Is it in the minds of a good majority of the 67m in the country?

I’d argue it’s forgotten already, it does not have, nor will it gain the traction that the Lawrence murder had and still has. If it hadn’t been in London, or involved the Met id doubt there’d even be a thread on here about it
I am not sure I agree.

As it was mentioned on PH I got hold of a copy of Untouchables. The Daniel Morgan murder was mentioned in that book. Coppers named in that book feature in the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel report.

The Untold podcast about it.

The Untold podcast about it was referenced in the last series of Line of Duty.

The three part Channel 4 documentary last year, Murder in the Car Park.

I think on BBC Radio 4 Media Show they said there's a big interest in 'true crime' so there are publications catering for that market. You don't have colleagues that talk about 24 Hours in Police Custody and other fly on the wall TV programmes about police catching and prosecuting criminals?

I'd also disagree as the family of Daniel Morgan were told the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel wouldn't be looking into links between the police and the press as that would be covered by the second Leveson Inquiry that was then canned. So it's not just some police incompetence or corruption in the late 80s it's related to police officers selling and disclosing information and where the press get their dirt to name, shame, ruin and influence the outcome of General Elections.

Regarding what Baroness O'Loan said about police being more concerned about protecting their reputation than dealing with corruption and crimes, isn't that just about every police force in the UK?
