First up, i am total luddite, and i have zero patience with PC's smile

Now that's out of the way, if anyone could do a step by step process on how i can move Tiff files from 'files' on a iPad (or iPhone as they are on both) onto a PC with zero loss of quality please can you help!

To put some back ground on my request...

Basically I still take film photographs (told you, i really am a total luddite) which are developed and scanned by a local shop.
The shop keeps the scans out there for a week before deleting, for the week it was out there i was actually in Manhattan and away from my PC (i live in New York)
As such i used my iPad and iPhone to download the pictures and saved them to 'files' on both devices
But now i need them on my PC so i can do a bit of dodge and burn on them but cant work out how to transfer them

I did google it and following instructions down loaded iTunes to the PC, which they claim you can move files across on, but the apps you can use did not include 'files'

Hoping a PH'er can assist please!!

The Files app basically aggregates cloud based storage (iCloud, OneDrive etc.) into one app.

If you save your files into the iCloud Drive, then you can access these on your PC by logging into iCloud.com on the PC with your iCloud username and password (and possibly two-factor authentication if you’ve set this up) the iCloud Drive is one of the apps you can access.

If you use OneDrive it is similar if a little easier to access your files on a Windows PC.

You should just be able to plug a usb stick into the device and it should appear in the files app. Just find where you saved them to and copy them over.

The file app sounds like it might work, I’ll give it a go!
I assume I but this and it appears as an app on iTunes so I can trf like that?

I have a USB to lightning adaptor or you can get dual usb/lightning sticks.

Like this for iPhone

Or this for iPad Pro

Get a Google Drive account + install iOS app
From Files long press on the file in ‘On my iPhone’, Move
You can select Google Drive as the location
Then download via PC or the Drive web app

Buy more iCloud storage! It is dirt cheap. You can then just use the iCloud.com website from your PC to move stuff off your account.

Buy more storage, or download Dropbox onto your devices and let it sync folders between them all.
