Please read my last sentence above, first. It is key.
Every situation will have a probability impact. If say two people share a bed and have intimate contact the rate will be different to 2 people in a room and different agin as they move around a house. But for each of these very particular situation the probability will be broadly similar i.e a constant for each situation. That does not impact the 20% or 50% and could be overlaid was a 3rd factor.
At some point variables have to be taken out to get a good like for like comparison. It's just data analysis. None of this impacts on the benefit of the infected person being vaccinated as an impact to the vaccinated but uninfected person.
I'm a data analyst by trade and that makes fk all sense to me.Every situation will have a probability impact. Does anyone else understand what the chuff he's on about?

Crackers, isn't it. It's nothing like a return to normal.https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/57598221

Quite sinister too.
One thing I can't get my head around is the fact that you don't have to be tested if you are vaccinated. You can still be infectious even when vaccinated. It's ok for the vaccinated to be super spreaders? We have shut the world down over the last year and a bit to 'stop the spread'.
The rules are just so barmy, inconsistent and stupid that I struggle to see the logic.

I’m so glad we follow the science. Vaccinated but full of covid can go, non-vaccinated need to prove they dont have covid. It’s so blindingly hypocritical I struggle to understand why it’s acceptable. Is it because so many have now been vaccinated we do health policy by populist approval now?https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/57598221

Very good. Had a quick listen and Mike Graham is on top form as usual. I wasnt aware of this podcast (strange they dont plug it, with your NSFW/K warning), so looks like I've got 134 episodes to catch up onhttps://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9hdWRpb...

Some new countries added this evening to the Northern Ireland green list for travel, effective from 4am Wed 30 June, including the Balearic islands.
Full list here: https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/articles/coronavirus-c...
Might give some indication of what is going to happen to the rest of the UK soon.
Not that much to write home about tbh, but a bit of partying in Ibiza might go down well enough. I guess flight prices will have rocketed already though :-(

Bizarre isn't it. Big money events, no problems. School sports day or party, you're going to die!!!Andy888 said:

How anyone can accept this is beyond me.

Yep, it's nuts. And this who have recovered from the virus, who have antibodies just like the vaxxed do, also have to test. All this 1/3rd asymptomatic spreaders doesn't seem to apply to the vaxxed does it?
It's bks.

Crazy to think that this is so far removed from what I consider normal. The response should be bugger off, we aren't doing anything of the sort. Loads will be fine with it though and think it's OK. Just a minor inconvenience being jabbed, isn't it.

It really is win win for big pharma.

This link and the one Elysium posted are truly sad. Children at 5 should be a bit shy then after a bit of encouragement should be off fking about making tonnes of noise and general mayhem not having panic attacks. It really is win win for big pharma.

Kinda amazed our professional griefers weren’t posting about this, have their bleeding hearts run out after India?

Yikes indeed.
If those numbers bore any resemblance to reality, we'd be sacrificing the younger to [briefly] extend the lifespan of the older.
Not only would that be utterly insane, it would be criminal..

That's a really weird article. I'd dismiss the whole thing as bks too - a clash between a weirdo and other weirdos - but after reading that I'd start to wonder.
