CV19 - Cure worse than the disease? (Vol 13)
Discussion
Received this just now.
You recently signed the petition “Do not rollout Covid-19 vaccine passports”:
https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/569957
The Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee (a group of MPs who look into issues relating to the UK constitution and civil service) has published a report which calls for the Government to scrap any plans to introduce domestic Covid-status certification, also known as Covid passports.
The Government has suggested that such a system, based on proof of vaccination or a negative test result, could help manage the disease in future, allowing the economy to reopen and social restrictions to be lifted. It is currently undertaking a review into whether (and how) such a system could be introduced.
However, the MPs on the Committee said the Government had so far failed to make the scientific case in favour of the system, and raised concerns that such a system could “disproportionately discriminate” against people on the basis of their race, religion, age or socio-economic background. They concluded plans for Covid passports were "unnecessary" and "unjustified".

ok, swear to God this is true...
guy I know has a nasty fall on Sunday morning
his brother takes him to local A&E
yep - both badly ankles, possibly broken, not sure, put in a bed for observation, give him loads of painkillers
...
fast forward a few hours and they make him take a covid test - this apparently turns out to be positive but they won't show him any proof so he gets into a bit of an argument with doctors and nurses and they won't operate or do any close investigation till he tests again
Monday they do two more tests - both come back negative
BUT - they now refuse to operate until he's done another test
He refuses - I know the bloke and he can be very stubborn!
Just had a message from his brother earlier - they still won't operate, have put him in a room on his own, will only communicate with him from a distance and have told he can't have any visitors for 10 days from his date of admission unless he takes another covid test.
WTAF???
Couldn't they err on the side of caution and operate under the assumption that he was positive? (Extra plastic gown and descrub (is that the word for taking your gear off post op?) carefully?guy I know has a nasty fall on Sunday morning

I mean, they'd still operate if he was positive. Wouldn't they?

Well, the issue is that so far it's 'oooh look how many potential new variants there are, Areb;t we politicians clever for finding these variants to save you the people from them'. So until the politicians actually start saying lots of cases don't matter (as your post suggest is their intent) rather than lots of cases mean we need more restrictions to keep cases down as what has actually happened... I don't exactly know why you think the current government messaging about vax up to lower infections is such a great idea.
I think there has been a subtle shift in the governments narrative. There seems to be more concentration of breaking the chain between infections and hospitalisations rather than outright cases. In today’s press conference they seemed quite blasé about an increase by 6k in cases and concentrated more on vaccination numbers and the very slow growth in hospital admissions compared to infections. As I said earlier, it was a party political broadcast by the vaccine party. Who, if there were really such a thing, would win about 500 seats at the next general election
Amid Sydney's 'surge' of cases, they managed 48,000 tests in 24 hrs to find a 'very concerning' 11 cases. 11. Isn't that in the region of 0.002% positivity rate? Surely there has to be false positives in there?
I can't watch mainstream news here any longer, it's honestly mental. The amount of guff is appalling.

I thought that the graphs were presented in a very different way this time.
I wonder if Johnson finally worked out what The Science was up to.

Is it just me or was there a great deal of 'tin foil!!' and 'fake bullst!!' accusations at those posting videos of magnetic jab sites hosted on 'conspiracy' sites?
And yet now the vax companies are openly admitting that the mRNA jabs have magnetic particles in them? (which are travelling all over the body to places they shouldn't be - which is still not really being covered by the 'MSM'?)
One more tick in the box for the conspiracy theorists.

I don't think it was ever denied that they contained magnetised particles. These are meant to keep the vaccine localised to the injection IIRC. That does not seem to have worked.
But the silly videos of people saying magnets stick to vaccine vials are still ridiculous, as they aren't magnetic enough to have any significant physical force.

I used to smoke Camel non filter and they are pretty strong. Used to work with some Israelis and the stuff they smoked blew the Camels away in terms of throatiness.
Ah yes! There were various Israeli brands in the 80s I remember, that would blow you away: Noblesse & Nelson spring to mind. Someone got hold of some Egyptian fags: there was Cleopatra & Egyptian prison issue smokes, which would spontaneously combust, often setting fire to the smoker's hair.. grumbledoak said:
It is pretty conclusive that the mRNA vaccines cause myocarditis in children and young adults, especially boys -
Will they continue the roll out?
Are these deaths, lifelong problems, or short term problems? Will they continue the roll out?
If deaths (some will be?) didn't they pull one vaccine for 17 deaths or some such equally low number?
It does make you wonder if Christian Ericsson was jabbed. Have our footballers had the vaccine? Our rollout is faster than the Danes
Heres Uefa pushing for teams to be vaccinated, whilst our boys heroically say "we won't jump the queue"

Ok, I’ll correct that.
Accepting of foreign travel vaccine passports.
But based on other countries inevitable adoption - which doesn’t appear to be the case (entirely).
It appears our own country is the one imposing them but on return, not departure.
I think I’ll go to the Winchester and wait for this to all blow over.
I listen to TR from pretty much everyday 6:30 to midday, with a few breaks for meetings, etc. I do enjoy JHB and the channel in general is a breath of fresh air compared to other media channels, but I’ve got to agree, JHB has in particular got a bit of an “I’m alright Jack” attitude to vaccine passports for travel. She’s openly admitted she only had the jabs to enable potential easier travel and is now on the path of campaigning for more benefits for the double jabbed over everyone else. Accepting of foreign travel vaccine passports.

Personally think this should be a sacking offense.

The world has taken an irrational stance that 'do no harm' no longer applies to Covid treatments. The threat/harm will be downplayed and the jabbing will continue. Will they continue the roll out?
It used to unnaceptable to place adults at systemic risk from vaccines, but now even children are fair game. No idea why.

Of course they’ll continue. They’ll just conditions their cultists to spread the word that they’d have had myocarditis anyway so the vaccine is no risk. Then others will start talking about “bet you believe in 5G and magnets too” with the rest piling in to kill any conversation on the subject. Will they continue the roll out?
All that matters is the vaccine and getting it into anything they can

Are these deaths, lifelong problems, or short term problems? It's grimly amusing that the much trumpeted myocarditis from covid (as per endless quotes from a flawed article by some) has turned out not to be the case but myocarditis from the vaccines, widely dismissed earlier by much the same group now seems far more likely....
