It arguably stored up the ‘ststorm’ until vast majority of vulnerable (about half the population, let’s be honest) were double vaccinated.
Seems ideal timing to me
Have a look at the vaccinations tab on the PHS dashboard I linked. Scotland had already double vaccinated 2.7M people by 30th June and only another 600k, almost certainly all less vulnerable, between then and "beyond zero" day on 9th Aug. Seems ideal timing to me
The majority of the vulnerable population were done by the end of June & we could have been open far earlier.

That’s an epidemiological puzzle. The argument was that waiting an extra month to vaccinate an extra 20% of the population could yield long term rewards. I obviously don’t know the maths but it doesn’t seem obviously wrong to me. The majority of the vulnerable population were done by the end of June & we could have been open far earlier.

One of them is responsible for " “green skills, circular economy and biodiversity”,". Which is what exactly? A govt minister to tell us how to recycle?
Someone to blame when the container deposit scheme results in expense and waste of time for shopkeepers but no increase in recycling rates?
A green sounding title without needing to do much? Something to keep them happy while the current SNP ministers keep all the important jobs?
So, Humza the Health Minister doesn't have faith in his own Covid rules.
He should realise that really isn't a good look for someone who is supposed to be in charge of the population's well-being, but then it is the perfect combination of him being a bit thick and the SNP in general being Teflon.
Oh, and it seems his nursery skirmish turned out to be a bit of black-on-black sectarianism because his missus had an issue with the Hindu owners.

Your theory is, that as a result of finding out his local nursery was giving preference to white sounding names, this MP thought it would be a perfect excuse to stir up some Hindi - Indian - Hindi sectarian hatred?
Quality nonsense.
Or, if you know anything about Muslims and Hindus, plus the fact Yusuf is a MASSIVE who isn't shy in playing the race card at every opportunity, it is quite believable.Quality nonsense.

Your entire political philosophy
Is not really so complex.
almost like a student poem
Even.
A difficult situation
reduced to simple binary
Shut down the government
Might i suggest we start with
The House of Lords

As shutting down holyrood means we lose the bunch of utter no hopers that are running scotland very badly. As scotland has slowly declined since Hoyrood popped into existence.
The other solution
Of paying the undesirables to leave scotland means that Scotland can become a unified nation which will be independent very quickly. As i would imagine that making scotland into a Tory free zone would see an influx of Remainers from south of the border who want to move back to an english speaking EU country.
Harvie and Slater whilst saying that capital growth is a bad thing, are more than willing to pocket an extra £30k per year each, boosting their salaries to £94,821 to feather their own nests. Pure hypocrisy. Rancid and disgusting.
Meanwhile Sturgeon really has got her eye on the Covid ball...not!, what an absolute failure of a First Minister, regardless of the BS her spin doctors
are sitting posting on social media, she has / is / and will keep on failing the people of Scotland.

Instead of dealing with it on the QT through exclusively legal means, one of the first ports of call was the Daily Record. Who does that? A fking pair of s, that’s who.

Any news article on social media has the requisite SNP plant posting "keep up the good work Nicola" or "we are so lucky to have such a great First Minister", etc. Each news outlet seems to have the same couple of names posting like a demented monkey, replying to anything critical of the Dear Leader with positive propaganda, calling everyone critical a "Toareee". Not saying they are paid SNP staffers, but nothing would surprise me any more.are sitting posting on social media, she has / is / and will keep on failing the people of Scotland.

My solution is Scotland-first opposition across the social and economic spectrum. Which would probably require torys and Labour to vacate the stage. As shutting down holyrood means we lose the bunch of utter no hopers that are running scotland very badly. As scotland has slowly declined since Hoyrood popped into existence.

I don’t see shutting down holyrood as an option at this point.
Your second option is not serious I presume. SNP are economically closer to the tories than you make out, and perhaps your view is distorted By the more left Leaning mcgammons?

Allegedly giving preference to white sounding names. Despite not being white, and having lots of non white customers already.

How many non white customers? Haven’t seen those details published?Instead of dealing with it on the QT through exclusively legal means, one of the first ports of call was the Daily Record. Who does that? A fking pair of s, that’s who.
