If you being are serious then that says as much about your poor judgement as theirs.

That’s literally someone advocating killing ‘Terfs and Tories’ at a rally you appear to support, and you are saying those on here criticising that ‘can’t be sensible about this’?

You are an odd fellow.

Great to see Effie posting again.

I specifically didn’t do that, what I said was that it’s a minority view and most people were there to be positive.

So the 'most people' should have appealed to the better nature of the 'minority' to put their offensive hate-speech banners in the nearest Glasgow City Council refuse deposit.

Did they perhaps not for fear of intimidation and an aggressive response? scratchchin

Sadly life doesn't work like that. There are extremists and fundamentalists in almost every organisation and they make the most noise and get the most attention whilst ensuring the sensible are overlooked and ignored. As old Bertie Russel may have suggested the world would be a much nicer place if the ignorant were not so cocksure and full of themselves and the wise and intelligent were not so quiet and full of doubt

Well I’m not going to guess about what people at a protest I wasn’t at did, but you can make up whatever lurid fantasy your heart desires.

No lurid fantasy - the pictures/banners are there for everyone to see. The phrase 'not a good look' very much applies.

You really don't do yourself and your causes any favours when you switch on this denial mode (something you've done a few times now).

No denial, I’ve posted bigger pictures of the protest showing the general tone of the signs.

I said that I don’t agree with those signs and they do harm to the cause.

Not sure what else I could say in this situation tbh.

Indeed GBN. Perhaps though that is indicative of the silent contemplative majority who will make their opinions known when it comes the next time to cast their ballots.

I still stand by the opinion that Sturgeon's political gamesmanship over the issue has harmed the cause of trans rights more than anything in the past 2 years. I said a month ago that consensus was required and could have been reached, and there has been continued and copious evidence that unprejudiced legal means to ensure gender reform would have passed into law in Scotland were roundly ignored by the SNP Scottish Government. The true enemy of the piece here is Sturgeon who is a poor mediator and a terrible political leader in the objective sense because she cannot unite sides in a cause because it goes against her basic nature and it does not fit with her wider ambitions.

I feel truly sorry for the people protesting yesterday.

I walked past that yesterday. It really wasn’t........ it was a nuisance more than an obstacle. Many of the bodies in the picture further down Buchanan Street are likely folk trying to go about their day, as I was.

I can only conclude those two lard arsed tts are both blind and stupid.

Ok, but just so we are clear on the one hand there are trans people who were included in the concentration camps and holocaust, who's research and literature was burnt by the Nazis at in the iconic book burning images of the period at the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft and only last week anti trans campaigners were quoting Hitter and Mein Kampf without an ounce of shame at a "feminist" anti trans rally and far from being criticized those in attendance sought to justify the speakers words. So spare me the outrage at references to Auschwitz. The holocaust Museum regularly turns out to speak out against anti trans rhetoric

Calmac paying out on average £50k a month in travel disruption compensation.
Thats almost enough for a down payment on a new boat.

Perfectly valid points but completely irrelevant to the point that the half wit was trying to make.

Better paying 5 million a month for the last 5 years to not have 2 new ferries.

"Your nutters are much nuttier than our nutters" is not a winning argument.
