Why on earth is he even at these events - I would support curtailing Holyrood powers now, 100% in return for more focus on home issues.
Nice fish supper with a can of irn bru and a visit to Gourock to see our world class ship yard. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-68017535

Maybe they could invite Erdogan to arrive by sailing up the Clyde at the head of a flotilla formed of Isle of Islay, Loch Indaal, Lochmor and Claymore. Maybe he could also announce that they’re taking Glen stbox and Glen Rusty as part of a scrappage scheme for another couple of Cemre ferries.https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-68017535

SNP heading for a re-brand?
I see he was saying the word "nationalist" might be misleading....
Erm thats exactly what your party is and no, its not inclusive so dont try and call it something else.....
You will still be the same underneath
He doesn’t like the association with Nationalism as that would be a clear policy statement. It’s the only one they had. He’d rather not be accountable for anything. I see he was saying the word "nationalist" might be misleading....

Yousless is such a duplicitous scumbag. Cosying up to Erdogan and issuing invites like confetti, even though Scotland has no official capacity to make such an invite. Regional politician massively overstepping their remit and deserves to be slapped down by the Foreign Office at the very least - I know in the past the FCO have threatened censure on SNP overseas junkets because of this constant overstepping of boundaries and remits, but they have given the SNP far too much leeway already, it's going to be very hard to rein them in now. The establishment of 'embassies' overseas was definitely a step too far, and conversations with foreign governments without FCO representation was also a terrible idea. It makes the UK a complete laughing stock abroad.
The Speccy had a nice line on Useless not being that keen on being a nationalist.

I read today that the Irish Berth at Ardrossan is closed for repairs, which puts the Alfred out of action.
According to the BBC the berth also needs upgraded for the two new boats, and they haven’t started that work yet. As a result, if the 2 new boats enter service they’ll use Troon.
However, Troon has no LNG fuelling facility so they’ll be refuelled from road tankers…that have to drive up from a depot in…wait for it…Kent!
You really could not make that up!

Did you read an article from 2020? According to the BBC the berth also needs upgraded for the two new boats, and they haven’t started that work yet. As a result, if the 2 new boats enter service they’ll use Troon.

Pretty sure that’s not right unless it’s literally just happened. Marine Traffic showed Alfred running between Ardrossan and Brodick earlier, though it’s now in Ayr for some reason. Caledonian Isles is at Dales in Greenock along with a load of other Calmac boats and Isle of Arran is currently in Ardrossan.According to the BBC the berth also needs upgraded for the two new boats, and they haven’t started that work yet. Might explain why it is in Ayr (again).
