So how’s your privatised trains going?

Liking the new timetable and 1/3rd of services stopped.
Looking good.
Hospitality on it's knees, last trains home by 8 o'clock to most places.

Not to mention the impact on drink driving and car use that the SNP/Greens claim to hate.

Last train Inverness to Wick I believe is now 14:21. There are some very salty people indeed all over the ScotFail social media pages, complaining about the new timetable and withdrawl of services, especially commuters into Glasgow and Edinburgh - first train in the mornings now from Cowdenbeath to Edinburgh is 07:45 or thereabouts. Lots of unhappy commuters suggesting that they will end up late for work as a result, and wanting refunds on their now useless season tickets.

As a counterpoint to the myriad of complaints, there are a handful of dutiful nationalists doggedly defending the SNP from criticism, with one even claiming that it's all the fault of the Tories at Westminster, because their anti-trade union stances have made the drivers in Scotland more militant and likely to strike, apparently. I mean I've heard of straw clutching, but that's ridiculous. SNP as usual unable to accept the blame for their failures, and the cult drones unable to accept any criticism of their beloved party. It really makes me wonder what it would take for these people to see the truth...

Trains in chaos, ferries in chaos, hospitality industry in crisis, A&E waiting times worst ever, ambulance crisis, wrecked roads everywhere, millions being squandered left right and centre, fraud investigations ongoing, and not enough time or space to list the multitude of other SNP failures and scandals, but it's all good folks......indyref2 is next year, paradisiacal utopia is just around the corner, and overnight our grossly incompetent administration will
become the envy of the world with their newly aquired abilities of intellectual prowess and competence. Just a pity they can't give us a wee taster
of the gilt-edged elysian country to come after indy.

Well the rumour is that a Super Injunction is in place, but obviously anyone can start a groundless rumour about a Super Injunction and it is catch-22.

Don't get me wrong, if true it's a great story biggrin but sadly, it's almost certainly totally bolleaux

Ironic statement on the day of the opening of the new Reston station and the introduction of the reduced rail service across Scotland.
said:
Transport minister Jenny Gilruth, who travelled on one of the first services to stop at the station, said she was delighted to see it open.

"We know that reconnecting communities to rail isn't just about transport," she said.

"It's opening up employment opportunities, it's driving investment and it's creating opportunity for future generations."

Scotland doesn't have super-injunctions. An interdict usually has to be addressed to a specific person/entity - can't just make a blanket request that covers any media organisation.

Fair enough and thanks for clarifying. That's what I got from the various tweets that were using the hashtag, which kind of backs up my point that there is probably zero truth in it, sadly biggrin

seeing a lot of monday morning tweets about Scotrail - not only trains not longer running, but also trains time are changed slightly and now connections dont match up with other trains, which involved a much longer wait as the connecting train also affected by changes in timetable.

dam these tories messing with our rail network........oh no wait........

So, our resident Trotskyist deadslow pops up for some (off target) Boris Bashing and then lurks again.

Come on DS - I want to hear how cheated you now feel having fallen for the fake nationalist narrative that the SNP were the true left-wing voice of Scottish politics, especially now that they are having their own miners' strike moment standing against the train-drivers' union.

Or are you going to go into the same cognitive dissonance mode that your fellow cultists have dropped into by flipping the notion that a nationalised ScotRail both is and isn't a government entity to suit your desperate attempts to defend the indefensible ie. that the SNP are the biggest bunch of liars currently in UK politics - yes, beating those nasty Tories by a wide margin.

Allegedly, an iron was thrown through a window. By person or persons unknown.

That's it?

Who is suspected of launching said iron?

Look like the Telegraph running a story on Alex Salmond exposing SNP failures since his departure ( i assume ) - its behind a paywall though.
