How do you hide an anti-vaccine passport protest? Ask the Italians?

It's obviously just for their health or something.

That's worrying, if true. I couldn't see enough of the cam footage to make out landmarks or timestamps on that guy's phone.

That being said, it wouldn't surprise me either!

I am working from home right now as my P7 daughter's class has been sent home for this week. 17 kids all tested +ve over the weekend, including the teacher. Half term break next week so I guess it's not too bad.

Interestingly, symptoms-wise, one has a bit of a sore throat.
Great to see them prioritising education and quality of life ... or maybe not

So Bill is going to help Boris implement a green industrial revolution. Bill really is a man of many talents! He's also the largest private owner of farm land in the USA. He'll help the UK lower their CO2 by hooking you all up with some plant-based meat from his other investments: Beyond Meat and Impossible Food. Pollution from shipping between countries when the boat is in international waters doesn't count so it's win win!

"Recent deaths in young people in England and Wales - Increase in male mortality in 15-19 year olds should be investigated"

"Direct Mortality evidence

The mortality data for England and Wales from ONS from 1 May 2021 until 17 September 2021 shows a significant excess, particularly in the 15-19 year age group. Depending on the baseline chosen, the excess for 15-19 year olds is between 16% and 47% above expected levels (see table 1 and 2). COVID-19 deaths were too small in number to account for the excess. A disproportionate number of these excess deaths were in males. A certain amount of variation by random chance would be expected but an increase of this proportion is large enough not to be dismissed without further investigation."

2020 will be low because a lot of young people were locked indoors instead of doing the things that normally get them killed wouldn't they? Like driving a rusty Corsa at 110mph into a wall for example. Although its still quite high compared to the 5 year average though

Does no one else find it absolutely insane that we have a bunch of super-rich people being put in charge of our lives and our futures? This has probably been the case for many hundreds of years with the Rockefellers etc, however who has elected these people to tell everyone else how to live? Mark Zuckerberg created a (god awful) website that just so happened to become popular and make him a billionaire - why is he now telling us what we should and shouldn't be doing?

Madness.

Did anyone else know its the renewal vote on the corona restrictions today?

I even asked on the actual legislation thread on SPL the other day when the vote was and didn't get an answer. Absolutely nothing in the news about it and I only found out through a random Youtube video.

Nick Rolovich: Washington State football coach fired for refusing Covid vaccine

A top US college football coach has been fired for refusing to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

Washington State University (WSU) sacked Nick Rolovich, its highest-paid employee, and four of his assistants, for failing to meet a vaccine mandate.

The mandate means all state workers in Washington have to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 or lose their jobs.

Mr Rolovich, 42, who earned $3.1m (£2.25m) a year, had applied for a religious exemption from the mandate.

But WSU's Director of Athletics, Pat Chun, said the exemption had been refused.

"This is a disheartening day for our football programme," Mr Chun said.

"Our priority has been and will continue to be the health and wellbeing of the young men in our team."

On remote viewing - look up Robert Monroe and the Monroe Institute. Vast amounts of US government funded scientific research on out of body experiences and remote viewing. Lots of documented literature from them.
He was one of the pioneers of binaural beats and hemi-sync. Fascinating guy and very interesting body of work - I read quite a bit about it some years back
Oh that stuff is very much real - insofar as the US government (Secret services) was doing a hell of a lot of research into it in the 60s/ 70s - with limited returns it seems biggrin

I recall the book 'The Men Who Stare At Goats' was written about their experiences?
Yes. The US military's Stargate Project (per my previous post).

In 1995 responsibility for the project was transferred from the military (DIA) to the spooks (CIA). The latter cancelled and declassified the program.
https://www.cia.gov/readingroom/search/site/STARGA...

Some of the non-military members at the head of the project during the 1970s were top level Scientologists (OT VII) including the project director Harold Puthoff .
He claimed that the illusionist/magician Uri Geller had demonstrated psychic powers. rolleyes

In the 1970s Scientology was being scrutinsed by US government and other agencies such as Interpol. Its response was infiltration on a massive scale.
Operation Snow White. The plot was controlled from its world HQ in the UK. If a private so-called 'Church' could manage that...

Little plug for Talk Radio: this was discussed on the Mike Graham show this morning, when he featured the brilliant Laura Dodsworth. Apparently the government is not allowing any debate or questions, it's a straight vote on renewal (or not). However, schedules 16, 21 and 22 are being removed - these are the ones dealing with school closures, detention of infected persons, and banning gatherings.

Laura thought it very likely that renewal will be approved, which will take us to April 2022 I think, when the whole Act is due to expire (it originally had a two year life).

Not to mention the polluting private jets they all fly in on. Coincidentally, and completely unrelated to the ongoing destruction of the airline industry, Bill invested in a private jet services firm last year, together with Blackstone.

You don’t think it’s interesting that a bunch of giffers with no masks and few restrictions in Florida are doing better than one of the most restrictive states?
Not really, Florida had its last wave a couple of months ago. On a longer timescale New York seemed to be where covid took off in March 2020, De Santis in fairness to him did take action back then before changing tack.

New York’s current stats aren’t particularly bad, in fact the 7 day average deaths in Florida are ~6 times that of New York adjusted for population, I’d imagine because of aforementioned concentration of “biffers”. Love that word btw, not heard it in ages!

It's good that Ferguson is honest about the facemask nonsense:-

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10106743/...

'Nobody likes having their freedoms curtailed by measures but it's prudent to be cautious in everyday interactions — certainly wear(ing) masks helps, it reminds people that we're not completely out of the woods yet.'

Perhaps to extend the analogy, he should have been fitted with a chastity belt last May as a way of "constraining" his "freedom".....
