not read it word for word, but why are they only showing photo's of Bojo? The first four photos you can easily state they are business lunches (they look at boring as any business lunch i've had) - the ones with bottles of drink on the table are clearly stretching the "business meeting" definition by quite some margin and my company wouldn't permit drinking at all, regardless of covid.

Many of those are pretty generic for any office any time. "Don't get pissed in the office", "Dont abuse the cleaning staff", covers pretty much any time, covid or not. And none of those are in any way surprising to me, having seen the workings of local councils and the political shenanigans I can only imagine it gets worse the higher you go.

All people want to see is a summary of how badly/deliberately Boris broke the rules. And I don't see much in there other than that which I highlighted which makes it "his" problem, rather than a critique of the civil service in a wider view.
I can pretty much guarantee that none of this happened anywhere in the civil service other than at his office.

This is explained if you read it.

Indeed you are correct - I am working my way through it over a sandwich.

Civil service is a big place. You must certainly get around a bit if you can guarantee that.

The BJ fanatics and apologisers are quite amusing.

Did you attend a party on 13 November 2020?
No, and I am sure that rules were followed at all times.

Was there a culture of partying at No. 10?
No, I have been assured that rules have been followed at all times.

Now in the real world?

Let's get this party started.

Now I know you are trying to row back by pretending you're a troll, as that would be a big step forward from where you appear to be.
Thank you for your kind words.

Where's turbobloke?

It's a bit poor leaving the "defend Boris at all costs" to Murph and Bandit.
It would be if that was what was happening smile

Because as I said in an earlier post, it's like the roots of a tree. The further you get from the top, the further you get from the politicians, the less "high powered" it is and the more you end up with junior staff that just want to get things done and pack-up and go home. Thing is, they were already at home during covid. That's why Jacob Rees Mogg has been moaning about us lately. Mainstream civil servants weren't partying in the office because they weren't in the flipping office.

Can we not just have a house where people respectfully listen to each other and don't make ridiculous noises or shout out when others are talking?

Yes, many of them are talking nonsense, sometimes telling lies, but can you imagine this kind of behaviour in any other workplace?

Johnson making himself out to be the victim.

It's nauseating.

And at this moment in time, there is one person talking more nonsense than the rest of the house combined.....!

I wonder how many Tory MPs are thinking to themselves “this is embarrassing?”

Hands have been massively over-played on this. If they'd played it straight they might have got rid of him today, instead most people aren't interested, Sir Beer Korma has entered Hansard and Johnson has got away with it. Whatever it was. There's some lessons in there for everyone.

I think Blackford may be doing a parody of Blackford right now.

He’s always been embarrassing. He is just even more embarrassing now.

He disgusts me with the absolute tripe he has spouted today.
