The BJ fanatics and apologisers are quite amusing.
Did you attend a party on 13 November 2020?
No, and I am sure that rules were followed at all times.
Was there a culture of partying at No. 10?
No, I have been assured that rules have been followed at all times.
Now in the real world?
Let's get this party started.

Hands have been massively over-played on this. If they'd played it straight they might have got rid of him today, instead most people aren't interested, Sir Beer Korma has entered Hansard and Johnson has got away with it. Whatever it was. There's some lessons in there for everyone.
I think Blackford may be doing a parody of Blackford right now.
I rather suspect from the look on a few Conservative faces that "Sir Beer Korma" might not have had quite the impact Johnson had hoped.I think Blackford may be doing a parody of Blackford right now.
Not sure how that st squares with the play act that he's sorry and has learned from this.

Why are the photos redacted apart from Boris. Why aren't the people in those photos identifiable.
Because Gray determined it was appropriate to identify Ministers and senior officials.Tend to agree that it's not fair to identify junior civil servants some of whom were doing what their bosses had asked them to do and who were fined for attending events their bosses organised and Johnson attended whilst he smirks and tells everyone he thought he was at a work event.
Working through it.
I thought this was interesting in the light of the "we are going to reduce the size of the civil service" mantra from a week or so ago

vii. The number of staff working in No 10 Downing Street has steadily increased in
recent years. In terms of size, scale and range of responsibility it is now more
akin to a small Government Department than purely a dedicated Prime
Minister’s office.

What do you mean that the staff in the hospital were having parties?
If you are finding that difficult to understand perhaps you should join the civil service. My wife is an NHS consultant, she didn't mention parties to me. Perhaps you know better?

Ironic really that one of Cummings' Big Ideas was radical reduction in headcount at the top of large governmental organisations.I thought this was interesting in the light of the "we are going to reduce the size of the civil service" mantra from a week or so ago

The eagerly anticipated Sue Gray report is proving something of an anti-climax and damp squib. There is really nothing new in it. The challenges in the HoC and calls for resignation are limited to previously known information rather than new killer relevations in the report and are reduced to desperate pleading with the Conservative MPs to submit more letters of non confidence. I’m beginning to suspect that, almost unbelievably, Boris is going to survive this!

I wonder how many Tory MPs are thinking to themselves “this is embarrassing?”
Well, I think they have become rather used to that over the last two years or so.A more important question, surely, is this: "Will I hand in a letter to Graham Brady?" My guess is that for the large majority, the answer is "No, because I still reckon Boris is the best chance I have of hanging on to my seat."
It won't be cake that does for Boris, or not. It'll be what happens with the cost of living, the NHS waiting lists, immigration and so on.
