Does it bother you?

Thought not.
That's not for his kids though is it? Reads like it's due to legal action against his decisions in office.
Agreed. It's odd to think that's about paying for his his kids!

We also pay bojo's salary, however that's a job. I'm happy for anyone currently on benefits to get a taxpayer funded job.

I am just trying to work out what the problem is with him becoming a father again.
He's another example of people having kids irresponsibly when they can't afford it isn't he?

I doubt he can't afford them now he's finished his hiatus from earning millions each year.

Is this the same Boris Johnson that managed to get himself in a position requiring an £800k loan whilst living rent and expense free?

And was able to get his legal costs paid by the taxpayer over the investigation into misleading Parliament?

The position of Prime Minister, yes. It pays a relative pittance.

Just to be absolutely clear £160k plus living FOC is an absolute pittance.

Are you RIshi Sunak?

Yep. Absolute and relative mean exactly the same thing, well done.

Unjust as it may seem, Johnson, Sunak and Starmer could quite easily earn more than a PM’s salary for a lot less grief I suspect.

Still it’s not a pittance. Absolute or relative.

His PM salary was about 1/20th of what he’s earning now. If that is not a relative pittance, what is?

It's interesting that whilst his team are claiming it's a politically motivated witch hunt it only appears to have happened because the Cabinet Office are paying his legal bill.

Hoist by his own petard?
So if he had paid his own legal bill, this would never have come to light?

But isn't one partly because of the other? When someone takes on the job of PM with a relatively "modest" salary they know the doors that will subsequently open.

And, possibly, by Team Big Dog's insistence that civil servants must be beyond reproach and adhere to the letter of the Civil Service Code after Sue Gray's role with the Labour Party came to light. Play by the rules, go by the rules.

Flaberbabelrebelabseiove naoihgehoindskleignreonsdf. Sreysheysdrghytbewhbiurebsdmf erf, Sue... rules.
That made as much sense as what you have written. Do you honestly think that the Labour party refusing a job is equivalent to what the Tories have done?
