The Tory party is a truly strange organisation. On the one hand it is insane to even consider such folly. On the other hand who else have they got? Kemi Badenoch and Penny Mordaunt.
Well, Penny held a sword for a few minutes which, according to some of the gutter press/Tory apologists, makes her an ideal candidate for PM!https://www.oddschecker.com/politics/british-polit...

When you hide behind hired goons to avoid a reporter and then realise who that reporter ultimately works for…….https://youtu.be/N51d8o-rTUY
I’m looking forward to seeing how the ultras will spin this one, but suspect a few regular posters will go quiet for a few days.

Alternatively if the headbangers vote him in to be leader again then he will be moved to an even safer seat than Uxbridge a seat held by the Tory’s for most of the last 100 years or so….

They've already gone quiet I’m looking forward to seeing how the ultras will spin this one, but suspect a few regular posters will go quiet for a few days.
Too busy pretending they've "moved on" or were never defending him in the first place after three years defending him before he resigned in utter disgrace.

It’s difficult to watch and listen and then remind yourself that he was PM and the man responsible for delivering Brexit. Like Trump, he holds a mirror up to us, those who once defended him more than likely still support him, but any rational debate has gone and they know it. Too busy pretending they've "moved on" or were never defending him in the first place after three years defending him before he resigned in utter disgrace.

Would it be wrong to blame the media?
I'm sure they are complicit too, we know Murdoch covered for him several times and buried scandals, but as the book goes into in great detail about, I think the people around him bear a lot of the blame too with their lust for power, knowing they could enable his worst instincts for their own gain. Probably the same ones who wouldn't go on the record whilst spilling all the beans to Seldon!

The 'goons' were fking useless and the news crew just ignored them and at one point BJ actually tells them there from sky news and have a right to interview me and stops and talks .
He could of just gone straight down the escalator thru security and not said a word.

Cant risk upsetting uncle Rupert, he might not send the cheque in the birthday card.

Murdoch has nothing to do with Sky News any more. If he did then they would be boosting Boris 24/7 rather than chasing him around airports.Cant risk upsetting uncle Rupert, he might not send the cheque in the birthday card.

He was still hiding behind his goons and still ran away though.
Got to admire Dorries for having the brass neck to go on Kuenssberg and say "there are men who have positions of authority, trust and power, who think they're above the law and above the standards that the rest of us are held to" when asked about Schofield and in the next sentence insist Johnson was victim of a stitch up and should face no further action
