Could be worse the SNP could be running the country. Labour completely unproven looking at Wales and the NHS doesn’t look a good starting point or Khan and the way he runs London. Starmer has made so many u turns I can’t recall what any of the agreed Labour policies are but go ahead name some. I’m interested
I think that they've pledged to raise the standards of grammar and punctuation.

To be fair, the whole house was laughing at him when he stood up in Parliament and said there were no parties, when 2 days earlier this picture was in the paper....

The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. George Orwell, 1984.
Looks like a pretty dire work lunch to me.

Not even a beer and a curry!

I don't know what to think:

1 - is that more evidence that he doesn't consider that rules apply to him?

2 - was it just another mishap because he is a bit thick.

3 - or the fact that he is totally disorganised and always late for everything (see the tale about his paid speech engagements)

4 - is it just trolling / provocation?

5 - didn't he realise that it would back fire and that he shot himself in the foot. Again.

6 - did he genuinely think 30mn was plenty of notice.

Is he now going to say that it's unfair and a caballe against him?

Some people apparently still support him. What does he need to do for them to stop? Or are they just like him.

Well the tiny number who believe such trash!
Commercially smart for the DM. Works well for them.

Nice of them to help the grifter pay for his extensive child support.
To be fair to Boris (I hate writing that) he is pretty well read and did study to a high level of education... so an erudite clown might be a fair term?
And still failed to graduate with a first...

These. Boris doesn't care, just like he didn't care before, he knows ACOBA has no ability to punish or hold anyone to account. They'll publicly rebuke him - his supporters won't care and those who already think he's a renegade with contempt of rules will have more evidence they are correct.

As his teacher said when he was 17 years old, Boris really thinks that expectations and standards applied to other people simply shouldn't apply to him. He was entirely unsuited to being PM 5 years ago, and his personality flaws have been there his whole life. It really isn't a surprise to anyone who knows anything about his history.

I’m going with

7 he’s a self-regarding with no concept of morality or what’s right and is a total narcissist interested only in money and influence. The idea what he was ever for to lead this country is laughable. That some MP’s are choosing him as a hill to die on does nothing but tell me they’re also unfit for office.

I'll suggest an 8.

8 - He's resigned in a manner that suggests he's sick of all Westminster processes. Reporting that he now has another job to yet another Westminster committee (that will take longer to meet than he has left in office) would be pretty meaningless.

There's lots to criticise him over, but this struggles to raise a meh for me.

It will give a direct comparison to how they treat him and Sue Gray so unlikely to have been accidental. As an aside Rishi stated in the HoC on Dec 7th 2021 that he did not attend any parties the previous year, 4 months before being given his PCN for a party the previous year.

9. He ran away when he knew a by-election would be triggered and that he’d almost certainly lose, because he is and always has been, a coward.

It’s just yet another example of him giving no fks as long as he comes out with more cash.

Maybe he's expecting the patriots to rise up against the system, ala Jan 6 Capitol riots?

Reportedly telling his supporters not to vote against the report now... likely because it will expose how few continue to support him

Telling that only 7 asshats have publicly backed him.

And just like Trump, he’ll end up burning them all somewhere down the line.

Pretty good read to be fair.

Being able to write stuff like that whilst being completely and utterly unfit for public office aren't mutually exclusive.
