I think Trump is going to have a mental breakdown soon. I think he’s struggling to believe that the investigations are ongoing even though he’s tried to stop them via the courts. I think that is why he’s now inciting violence. I also think Jr is not that far behind in having a mental breakdown.
That's not how narcissists think. Everyone else is wrong, he is right and they are targeting him because he's such a brilliant genius. He'll never even comprehend that he is the biggest whiniest bit*h in history because in his mind he's simply a target for those who want to be him.

Sadly, as CGT3 seems to have been saying (correctly) despite multiple legal orders to do so, neither Trump nor many of his closest acolytes, actually seem to be inclined to actually do what the courts have 'ordered them to do'.
I grow ever doubtful that the orange tt, or any of his cronies, will face justice.
There is definite weakness and culpability on the part of the DOJ too. A stronger tougher AG than Garland would have nailed all of the top level criminals on Jan 6 by February 2021. At worst Jack Smith should have been appointed within months.I grow ever doubtful that the orange tt, or any of his cronies, will face justice.
Had the roles been reversed does anyone think Bill Barr would have sat on his arse fretting and fussing for two years?

I believe that's one of the main reasons firbthe "grand jury" approach- it separates the judicial from the politics of it.
M.
Indeed but millions of Americans are too dumb to understand that and focus on the political affiliation of the elected DA, who does not have the ability to determine how the Grand Jury votes other than in presenting a case for their determination.M.
There is a distinction between Federal and State crimes. Garland has completely slept on the Federal aspect in my view.

This is uncharted territory for Trump, and he’s doing what he thinks is best for him to get away with his crimes.

I actually think he does know what he did was wrong, since he’s getting very irate recently. He doesn’t believe he should face the consequences though, since he’s never had to before. He is so used to using the courts to get his own way, he doesn’t understand why the investigations are continuing when he’s tried to stop them using the courts.

It's definitely going to be a fascinating case study for anyone studying psychology! This is uncharted territory for Trump, and he’s doing what he thinks is best for him to get away with his crimes.

Still, Pence now compelled to testify. And can't use executive privilege.
There's already enough evidence of "The Plan". I doubt Pence fancies testing the waters of perjury on this one. He'll be economical with the truth, no doubt.

Pence has already marked a place in history as possibly the weakest and most spineless Politician in history. His one chance to regain a shred of dignity is staring him in the face but he's delusional enough to think it will scupper his 1% chance of becoming President. His family should really talk to him about getting real before embarrassing himself even further.Still, Pence now compelled to testify. And can't use executive privilege.

He is not Presidential but he is quite unique in that he has united the US. He is hated by MAGA Republicans and Democrats.
Pence and trump have both lost in court in their attempts to stop Pence testifying. A federal judge has ordered Mike Pence to appear in front of the grand jury investigating trumps insurrection attempt to steal the election he lost.

“The requirements of my testimony going forward are a subject of our review right now, and I'll have more to say about that in the days ahead,” Pence said.
“I have nothing to hide,” Pence added. (just that he won't testify, thinks he still has a shot at potus...)
Edit: D.C. District Judge Beryl Howell has also refused trumps executive privilege claims to stop Mark Meadows from testifying in Georgia. Meadows still has over 1,000 text messages that were not turned over to the House select committee
Meadows was "at the very center of Trump’s plans to overturn his presidential election loss,"

Slate are saying this is a huge problem for trump and Meadows

trump had a rant yesterday claiming he had a deal with the IRS before becoming potus. This after last years reports they didn't in fact audit him, but it's strange he suddenly brought it up.
More charges and fines coming we don't know about?
edit:
Oh looks like the IRS are definitely persuing another tax fraud case against him

Trump posted this article, ‘They Want a War? Let’s Give It To Them. It calls for right-wing local DAs to indict Hillary, Biden, Pelosi, Fauci, Obama, Soros, Holder and others if Trump is arrested.
Whilst his lawyer is claiming the case in NY “is dead,” and that prosecutors around the country are just out to get him because of his rally crowd sizes.

Fox not impressed with trumps Hannity interview
“I voted for Trump twice. I’ve defended him countless times. I thought he was horrific .. the worst interview .. He was whining. He was complaining. He played the victim card time and time again.. I thought he was absolutely horrific.”
