When you say that, how did it manifest itself?

I remember last year calling an ambulance as my mother was on the floor all grey and shivering from a fall (probably caused by a bleed to her brain she had) and the only thing the call-handler wanted to speak to me about was fking Covid.
I lost it a bit with them in the end, but the ambulance did arrive quickly.

Mrs BSDDDD is on a respiratory ward today. No covid patients and they’ve now reopened the ward as usual (fk you Hancock and your “no going back to the old normal”). Now use the isolation rooms (normally used for diarrhoea and vomiting patients) for the odd covid cases. In the past week they’ve seen more TB cases (three) than covid.

Just called my doctor's surgery.
This is in itself unusual. Around here contact can now only be via an online form, and that is only available during surgery hours.

Cure is literally worse than the disease - the absolute risk of serious adverse events is greater than the absolute risk reduction. From the Pfizer and Moderna trial data itself.

Why am I not surprised in the slightest?
I think many of us have been suggesting this for the last year & a half - I wonder what the graph will look like in, say, 10 years time?
I think I can help with this.....

How is your school implementing the current guidance on isolation (for staff)?
Can’t remember exactly. I had it at the start of April and they told me to stay home for 5 days then 2 neg tests on day 5 to come back.
Yep, thats what we were doing, now just 5 days no test, 10 in some cases. Bit of a nightmare.

They really can't help themselves can they? They've got massive backlogs and they still want to focus on the exact thing that's caused the issues in the first place. Muppets!

Glad little Tonker is OK.

Quite a nasty strain of flu in Australia now which "should be treated like Covid"

"Australians urged to go and get vaccinated"

Didn't see that coming!

I think the appropriate response to that is FRO!

Gotta use those Covid camps for something! Whether you are ill or not, to the camp you go!

On a Lufthansa flight just now. just had the spiel about masks and how they're protecting us during this pandemic.

I guess no one's told them it's not 2020 anymore and it's kind of over now.

Pretty annoying that I'm having to wear one again on the way back to the UK. Ryan air didn't bother with this. The science is pretty clear on masks surely. They're neither here nor there.

Are you not allowed to wear a Scotch egg (other substantial meals available) around your neck in place of a mask to ward off the evil covids?

You need to eliminate the green line (placebo). And - most importantly - relabel the red line as something not vaccine related. Perhaps "Sudden Adult Death Syndrome"?

Had the booster on 15th May, went on holiday and caught Rona again for the second time during the journey home this week. Now isolating.

Going on holiday in 2 weeks so went for a walk in booster yesterday just to avoid the drama of missing a holiday if I tested positive plus being £50 better off

I was the only one there, in and out in 2 minutes. Not feeling too great this morning though

Just think how bad it would be if you didn’t have the vaccine.
