More strikes on snake island overnight. I don't suppose they can realistically re-occupy it except by air, which'd make getting equipment there rather harder. But failing that, they can deny use of it perhaps.

Can you imagine trying to "persuade" somebody to be stationed there?!

An excellent life limiting career move.

NASAMS apparently, which isn't one I've heard of before.
Surface launched version of late-spec AMRAAM, it appears.

...so shorter range and less capable than Patriot, but not to be sniffed at and probably easier to train up on...
I read a thread on this this morning, so I'm now an expert. Actually it was two threads, so I might be an Eminent Expert.

Anyway, the thing with these is that they're a distributed resource, you plug the missiles and their radars into your defense network and your radar over there tells the computer somewhere else that there's some heavy st in range, then the computer dials up some resource and launches the missiles. It can engage 70something targets at once and launch all its missiles in 12 seconds. Range is good, but it's ability to not get blown up by launching and leaving is really good.

I also learned that its range is 120km when launched at Mach something from a plane at height, which is interesting.

The place is littered with blown up military hardware. Can't be good for the morale of new arrivals.

So not having achieved the response they wanted of UK engaging with an unrecognised organisation they now state they will remove capital punishment only if they get to join Russia because they would have to by default or something. Think she's worked out she would be one of the first up for a war crime investigation? rofl
Lol, priceless. "The laws we want are stupid so we'll have to join Russia so, after they destroy our cities and slaughter us, they can make us have less stupid laws to the ones we choose to have."

Just insane.

They're in good company. Quick make some new laws up so we don't have to pay for any of that destruction either.

Russia are sending in the big guns, no sorry big buns for it's new General in the area.

Big target.
He'll definitely get all the troops behind him... safest place
I’d heard the Russian front was large, but blimey.

I think they had to cut up a camo tarpaulin because they couldn’t find a uniform big enough.

I'd like to see that graphic turned into a cost and a measure of how many years production it is. The helicopter and aircraft numbers are staggering too.

Here's the visually confirmed list, which does have a backlog:

So visually confirmed by a photo at least 800 tanks plus a shedload of other stuff.

Never mind the extra logistics of transporting the regimental band's Tuba player around to walk behind him and play parp parp, parp parp, as he walks.
