If Democracts codify Roe vs Wade they can't fundraise off the threat of Roe vs Wade being overturned.

And now America faces the consequences of that. The Dems once again are playing tiddlywinks whilst the Reps do total war.
Given how many other issues the GoP are rampantly misogynist about is that really a problem?

He's right about the Dems playing tiddlywinks though, and not kicking ass.
Bipartisanship isn't working
Conversely, the GOP are hoping that the Dems overreact and can be labelled as being as crazy as they are.

The Dems can't just attack blindly, that plays right into the GOPs hands. The GOP just keeps making mistake after mistake, so the Dems can afford to choose when and where they attack.

They tried recently. Every Republican, and Manchin of course, said no.

Hey,

Don't interrupt his rant with facts.
Facts. Because Dems couldn;t have codified Roe vs Wade at any time. Dems have had a majority several times. Biden fking campaigned on that promise. But I'm ranting? Cool bro.

Depends if you're a woman who wants body autonomy - you know know, like all us men have. Go ask the same question on one of the 100000000 PH antvaxx threads and see what answer you get.

Okies go all in.

https://us.cnn.com/2022/05/19/politics/oklahoma-ab...

Complete ban after fertilisation. Plus an add-on of the Texas law provision that allows any member of the public to sue an abortion provider who breaches this law.

The race to the bottom is on, and Oklahoma has taken the lead.

The possibly good thing is that massive areas of OK are Indian Territory, & the governor has already warned them against setting up abortion havens, but governed by tribal & federal law, he may have trouble enforcing that one. Could be a bigger money spinner than the casinos.

You have to admire the restraint!

"Johnson: Do you support the right of a woman who is just seconds away from birthing a healthy child to have an abortion?

Robinson: I think that the question you're asking does not realistically reflect abortion care"

Most people would be "ARE YOU fkING CRAZY?"

Fourteen Republican members of the state House of Representatives have pledged to introduce bills in the coming legislative session that would bar corporations from doing business in Texas if they pay for abortions in states where the procedure is legal.

Cue some of those corporations that recently flocked to Texas from California for low taxes/light regulation buggering off somewhere else. Or maybe they'll do the corporate thing and lobby them not to do it; GoP has always respected opinions backed up with money.
