It's all about perspective - people were closing their accounts because companies had changed their app logo temporarily to a rainbow. You need to read the first 10 pages or so, to read the increasingly bizarre edge cases people were using to explain why they didn't want a rainbow app icon.
I steered away from using Halifax for something because of their stupid horse adverts. Not sure what sort of phobe that makes me but If people believe any of the banks care about anyone at all then they're insane. Banks will know that some marketing will have a negative effect so weigh up that negative against the positive effect they predict. Sometimes they get it wrong, like Gillett.
The more they get it wrong and the more negative reactions they receive the less of these awful jumping on the band waggon advertising campaigns we will see, hopefully.
Some of my clients promote international womens day or mens mental health week, how is that any different?

Who cares!
It can be a seriously hard thing, I don't think you will really appreciate the scale of anxiety you can feel over something so "small" without experiencing it. I say as a not openly gay person.thebraketester said:
Blackpool..... yeah that is very brave of him to put that out for all to see.
I live here, and it's a town that feels like an identity problem in this. Lots of gay clubs and bars etc, a decent amount of gay history. But at the same time, it feels like hte local wildlife are not on-board, and that most of the gay stuff is for "visitors". A lot of lingering attitudes that don't seem to be going anywhere fast, especially for 2022.I am alright Jack said:

You mean the ones that advertise Lloyds? Which business did you steer away from?rampageturke said:
